Hello, I have a sentence to ask.
If someone said " I was sure of her coming",
Does it mean that he(=I) was sure that SHE HAD COME or he(=I) was sure that she would come?
Which one is correct?

Does that mean they want no answers from any other faiths, other than a religion that believes in a god.

So they want no enlightenment from buddhists, or taoists, etc?

I often hear that the only group that can be racist are whites.
This is becouse whites have the political and economic power to supress minorities.
So if a black cop gives me a hard time and a ticket becouse I'm white "he has the power to do this" he is somehow not a racist?
How does this fit in with ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL?
Does anyone else see the hypocracy here?
And what about the N word black's can use it whites cannot?

My daughter is five. She loves bearing her testimony. We have never coached her or told her what to say. She always does it on her own. Recently a letter was read in our ward about having children bear their testimonies in Primary, because they aren't ready. I would argue that my child is. Is it wrong for my husband and I to continue letting her bear her testimony in Sacrament meeting?

None of these women look white to me......
And they are all beautiful. So why some of you black people and white people on here act like you don't like ethnic looking women?

God made women to be men's helpmeet. They are to submit to and obey him, but he is to love his wife also. A good Christian woman should seek primarily to be pure in body to save herself for the man God has created her for. Once he finds her she is to focus on her family and motherhood.

Yet so many women today, yes even Christians, seek more than that. Is this a result of the fall?

Where did the fallout of belief come from?

In other words, when did Man stop believing in God to the point where he had to reveal himself again to Abraham?

And then to Moses?

And then to Noah?

I just read an answer from a Christian that contained this admonition:

"morals are not relative missy! Murder is wrong..not matter what era you are talking about! Naturally, murder is wrong by virtue of the Judeo/christian morality...
What you need to realize is that morality is not relative, it is not periodic, and being moral is almost completely impossible to do!"

Now how can any Christian say such a hypocritical thing, when you can quote law after law from the Bible that they do not follow, and their answer will always be to invoke some form of moral relativity?

Examples: Pork and shellfish are an abomination to God, women must offer sacrifices each month to atone for menstruation, Slavery is fine, just don't beat your slaves so hard that that they die within three days, don't wear clothes of blended fabric, Do not work on Saturday, and many others.

In my opinion a godly woman should make marriage and family her primary focus. Otherwise her romantic and maternal instincts will be frustrated, and she will be alone and unhappy.

A young woman's beauty reflects her physical and spiritual innocence. Men find innocence very attractive; it balances them emotionally and spiritually. A woman who is hard and cynical is not attractive to men.

A young woman must consecrate her innocence for the man whom she will eventually love and marry. Her thoughts should be focused on him and on her future children. She should prepare herself to be worthy to become a wife and mother.

Morals are not a thing created by religion, but are really just the idea of, would i want it done to me, than i wont do it to you.
So what makes people so sure that the judeo/christian relgions created morals? i mean we can all see that the pious flout all moral obligations by saying they are justified in their depridations by god? IE Priests molesting children, holy inquisition, need i go on?

Faithful are those of any religion who take it upon themselves to introduce their beliefs on others with the intent of eventual conversion. Whether it be by violent or subtle means.

Faithless isn't the best term here because it can be misconstrued, what I'm referring to are those who hold a differing religion than another person, or perhaps have no religion.
This person will then take it upon themselves to mock or cause uncertainty in those who have faith. (For example, the number of fake accounts on various websites named Jesus Christ, Buddha or Mohammad made for the sole purpose of mockery).

A religion that preaches bigotry is not above receiving pleasure from the sufferings of animals.

Does that turn your stomach like it does mine? I see it as further proof that my opinion of Christianity is right on!

The more we have of material things the more we want and the greedier we become . I don't want any part of that . Being humble is always considering others before yourself . This requires faith in God to provide for you, letting go of everything that I possess, so that by being free of material things I can own all things . As long as I’m tied to the things of this world I’ll never know true humility because these material things will keep me busy tending to them . How can I get over buying new belongings ? Do I make a rule that says "Don't buy any new material things ?" . How can I get to where II don't depend on material things for happiness ? What do I do with myself after I give up collecting material things ? How can I get spiritually ready to get rid of my belongings ?
