I have a disease the neurologist told me would kill me. I had it most of my life. I've raised 5 kids, four teens still at home.
I'm sitting here praising the God of heaven that after a terrible day of seizures yesterday, I was able to go fishing today and wrestle with my son and still feel great! My wife loves me, my dogs love me, My heavenly Father loves me so much when I get off track He still whoops me even as old as I am to get me back on track. I'm loved, no better news than that.
The Joy of the LORD is my strength!

Hmm... Jesus lives inside of me, and I can't deny it, and nobody can make me deny Him. Isn't it great when He gives you that kind of confidence? :) Even better: EVERYONE can have that same confidence! Is that awesome or what?
In the lesser realm of good news: I had a good day at school today. People are learning the music pretty fast in Madrigals (an advanced choir), which is cool, considering how much traveling we do (which gives us less time for practice than the other choirs).
What good news do YOU have?

That by accepting Jesus into your heart you can be set free of your sins.
Another day has gone by and my son who was a Marine in Desert Storm and now an Army Sgt has not been called to do another stint in Iraq. He just returned in Dec.
My elderly parents are still alive and in good health
My children love the Lord, as do my parents.
I could go on and on for whatever my situation is there is always someone who has it far worse and I pray for them.

Luckily my basement, my parents home, my best friends home, and my husbands best friend home are high and dry after the terrible storms and flooding last week on Thursday here in the Chicago area. It was touch and go for awhile - sandbagging and the like.

Yeah I'm still here, no matter how hard the battle has been. I thank God for strengthing me and keeping me, and being the Rock I can lean upon. I thank God for dear life, and that all is well in Jesus name regardless of what it may look like. I thank God for all the strong saints my church family, that make intercession for me, and that looks out for a sister. I thank God for allowing me to bask in his love.
