Well, I am a "Baby Boomer" and born into a generation that I could not get out of had I tried. We grew up seeing delivery men bring huge Ice blocks for our "ice box", we had no refrigerator. The big coal truck would deliver a winters worth of heating coal. The man cruising the street with a horse drawn wagon hollering "Rags" as he trolled along was buying any junk we had. There was no TV until 1950 or so, just AM (we listened to the Lone Ranger and the Shadow)and a newer thing called FM (monaural) and when we did get TV, the cabinet was massive and the screen smaller than a dinner plate; it went off the air at 10 PM. Having said all of that, when newer things like the "transistor radio' came along, and look here a hand held way to do math without a slide rule or my head. We bit Hook Line and sinker cause this stuff was neat. We and our progeny became materialistic. Yes, the atomic bomb changed the world and so did the microchip. Baby Boomers, what a generation.

The "toddler Boomer' era are to no longer blame for the intense assets fees, the countless blame may be laid squarely on the door of the wealthy youthful of immediately, they have earning a techniques greater professional rota than their mum and dad did at a matching age and in competing to guard a assets rigidity the fees greater. certainly might of the fifty 5+ age team try to downsize their assets via fact the youngsters have left homestead and that they sense the ought to shield as much as they are able to of their disposable earnings to improve their pension, ward off demise responsibilities and frequently supply for the destiny while their earnings are plenty decrease in retirement. yet another reason this is successive governments that have did no longer permit homestead development to maintain up with call for. in reality there is incredibly no shortage of housing this is reasonable only that the everyday public of this is in depressed aspects the place there is not any employment returned you are able to blame government and to a lesser volume the artwork rigidity that persevered to hold onto previous artwork practices that made them uncompetitive. an greater share of young ones are delaying getting married until eventually plenty later in existence, yet nonetheless sense this is their top to possess a house, this is one man or woman living in a living that should accommodate 3 or 4. No the "toddler Boomer's" are no longer the reason of the housing shortage and intense fees, look closer to your guy or woman age team they're people who sense they have a top to be housed interior an analogous type that their mum and dad have worked some years to realize and of their impatience to get on the valuables ladder 'at any fee' skew the fees of assets. And definite i'm of the "toddler Boomer" era".

I am a baby boomer. I am not materalistic at all. The worst legacy I think is spoiled children. We should have made our kids work harder and given them less.

What was with the hairstyles in the 70's and 80's. And the shorts guys used to wear too!
If it wasn't for Punk style, they would have all looked like sissies.
