I often hear that the only group that can be racist are whites.
This is becouse whites have the political and economic power to supress minorities.
So if a black cop gives me a hard time and a ticket becouse I'm white "he has the power to do this" he is somehow not a racist?
How does this fit in with ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL?
Does anyone else see the hypocracy here?
And what about the N word black's can use it whites cannot?

I agree with the poster above me that anyone can be racists, but my concern is how come you don't know this already? Also, if a black cop gives you a hard time and a ticket because you are white - yes he is a racist, but if whites have the most political and economic power to suppress minorities how does that fit in with all men are created equal? Do you see the hypocrisy?

I feel that any one can be racist. On the other hand BLACKS feel that whites MORE RACIST. I am proud of my race , but facts are facts. Yes we are a minority race , as far as the N word. If a black man calls another black man the N word its ok. Yet if a white man , or any other race says it - the black man feels offended, wants to fight or what not.

That word in many blacks views goes back to History when blacks were slaves. They refuse to let the white man , or any other race besides black use that word against them. It holds much meaning , but in my opinion NO ONE SHOULD USE THE WORD. Regardless to if blacks vs black, or black vs white, even mexicans use the word now. I have heard it many times. I find it ignorant .

Truth is racism will never end, its a daily issue super markets, stores, schools, jobs, its every where. You have to be mature and open minded. Leave the racist thoughts out of it . I have many caucasian friends, they ask me things about my descendants, my life as an african american- yet I dont feel offended by that at all. I know that we have some bigoted people in the world today but I am an open minded person, and I am willing to get to know someone before I judge them regardless to their race. I think thats what the problem is today . We judge, some people see a black person lets say a woman and they automatically assume she is on " welfare" or some type of " public assistance", Yet they see a white woman, and assume " she has money". Its all bull sh*t , excuse my french. We need to open our eyes and stop being ignorant .

Blacks can be racist. Anyone who is human can be racist. Plus, concerning the 'N" word, it is not a question of whether whites can use it or not. It is a question of why blacks themselves want to use it ,especially in sight of the fact that it still has its racist meaning. Just because some members of my race are idiots doesn't justify you or any other non-black person using the word. It is still a derogatory word. when you see blacks using the word, please try your best to ignore their stupidity.

Anyone can be a racist. Can we stop looking at other peoples race to judge their behavior?! And about the N word, seriously why would you want to use such a word? Get over it.

True, racism is defined by POWER. So, no, black people cannot be racist. But yes, they can be prejudice. As for the black cop, well simple, he was being a hypocrite, if he was giving you a hard time, and you know it was because of your race. As for the "N" word, noone should be using it,but since it is being used, I am going to ask you the same thing I ask of all white people, "Why do YOU want to use it so bad?" Are you feel the NEED to do so? Tell us more about that.....?

Why?...It's not that deep dude....You're letting your personal experiences form your thoughts on race. You're just as bad as any Black person that believes all White people are racist...Touche'
