I believe that there is nothing higher or more respected than the role of being a woman and mother. Women have been crowned with the power of creation within themselves and should be honored and charished for that.
I also believe that a large part of the femanist movement is an attempt to break down the family and take away the guidance, teaching and love that a mother provides for her children and displace it with a career or worldly power.
I love my wife with all my heart and deeply respect her for what she does for our children. My job is nothing compared to her 24/7 non-stop dedication to our family. I will be eternally grateful to her for that and will do all I can to ease her burden and help her every way I can.

No. We're just seeing that there is more in life besides family nowadays. Because of technology, women have time to go out and get a job and education. And what about the man saving himself for his special lady? Or do you believe he can "play around"? Just because women have become independent of men, doesn't mean the "Fall" has come. Seeing how well you guys have screwed the place up with your wars and the likes, I think it's high time we women took some control away.
-narrows eyes- You have a PROBLEM with that, Oh chosen one?

If you go and review the ordained roles for wives, you will see that they did much more than cleaning house and having babies.
Proverbs 31 describes a wife of noble character. This is a Proverb, a poem. It has poetic imagry, and is not intended to be taken as a word-for-word instruction for women. It is an example, a guide. It was written for women in their roles long ago, but is equally applicable to modern women as well.
Pay close attention to verses 14, 16, 18 and 24. These women ran their households, which consisted of more than just their husbands and kids. These were entire extended families, and included relatives who hit hard times and were considered "slaves". It also included all of the hired help, too.
And, on top of all that, they ran successful businesses.
Women "back in the day" were powerful, wise, respected people. They were equal partners to their husbands, but knew that, according to the Bible, their husbands were ordained to be the leaders. They were not quiet with their opinions, but once their husband made a decision, they did their very best to follow it. If the decision turned out to be bad, they did not bring out the "I told you so" routine, but they supported the husband and helped him make a better decision.
No wonder modern women are looking for "more". Biblical concepts are totally applicable to the moden world, and should be brought back into play.
(Men had definite roles, too, but this was a question about the women.....)
And now, the passages:
10 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls.
16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
29 "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
31 Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Yes, there is nothing I want more in life than to please my husband. I cherish the five minutes a week our virginal bodies become one. Doing his laundry and vacuuming under his *** are among life's greatest pleasures. At night we read the bible by candle light and tuck our 19 fundie children into bed. It's a dream come true for any woman.
Get a life, man.
