I've heard so many about Catholics & Protestants ... a lot of books say that Catholics draw pics of god and think that only the pope washes away the sins while the protestants say the opposite and they have everything simple at church ... but I know that others might have another thing to say? so what is the actual main difference?!!

We are called to be pure. Sometimes it is hard to resist women who intentionally try to corrupt you. Prayer helps. Any other advice?

Is this why we all come short of the glory of GOD as we are led to believe. Is the BIG BOOK a manifestation of someones ideology of how we should BE.

If you believe this type of comparison viable, begin to think about the entire body from that one single cell's perspective... What understanding could one single cell become aware of, in regards to how the entire body, as a whole, functioned?

Might it have similar understandings to those that we come to, as humans, trying to figure our own lives within this world? Maybe some cells believe that once they die, within the body, that that's it and there will be nothing more. Maybe some believe they will reincarnate as another cell and continue their work. And, maybe some cells believe there is something more after they die. etc...

Yet, miraculously, the body (at the body's own level - at our level) continues to function regardless of what each cell might or might not believe.

Now, begin to think of one single cell, from our perspective... We know the functions of the different types of cells, yet we don't know what one single cell is doing at any given moment, do we?

Can you be a Christian and a feminist? NO. The Bible is clear on this.

"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." (I Corinthians 11:3)

"For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man." (I Corinthians 11:8-9)

Are our lives scripted with a predetermined outcome? Or do we control our own destinies and do our choices in life impact on that ?

I'm writing an essay on this subject and I've got quite a few reasons against this (e.g. no morals), though more would be appreciated, especially if anyone had unusual ones... But, I haven't really got too many reasons FOR this argument (apart from the obvious one, religion creates wars).. Any ideas, especially ones that aren't strictly obvious?

This is just a question for fellow christians. I am doing some research and i would like to hear from people that both know and have no clue about the core beliefs of their church. When i say core beliefs i mean on topics such as baptism, salvation, sacraments....the things that makes your church lutheran, baptist or whatever it may be. And for those that have no clue how their churches believe on such matters, wouldnt it be nice to be able to find those answers easily and quickly? Thank you so much for your time. God bless!!

Animals are more than just a posession, the courts even say people's pets are part of thier family units.

Many people would not leave there homes to be evacuated during Katrina because they refused to leave thier pets, which triggered a government policy to have a plan of action for people's animals during a natural disaster.

Nothing triggers the human heart so passionately then the pain and hurt inflicted to a innocent child or animals..

Do you agree?
