The owner is scared of lawsuits right now. You bet he's trying to appease the relatives. The whole operation sounds shaky if u ask me. He's now closed another mine due to 'safety concerns'.

He is damned if he does (waste of money and time) .. and damned if he doesn't.. (lawsuits.. plus, lets face it.. those ppl deserve a proper funeral)
