Can you be a Christian and a feminist? NO. The Bible is clear on this.

"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." (I Corinthians 11:3)

"For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man." (I Corinthians 11:8-9)

Yes, and I agree.
You see, as long as the man loves the woman like christ loves the church, there is absolutely no reason why I wouldn't want to submit myself to my husband, because he then would respect me, and care for me, and meet my needs too.

[there has been studies that have shown people are more happier in marriages where the men are the decision makers aka head of the household, if I find them i'll link em].

Luckily, the Bible is nothing more than a myth. One of my bosses is a woman. I enjoy working for her. I don’t thing the Bible God would like that too much. The Bible God makes it very clear that women are inferior. For women, and for any man who loves women, this should make it very clear that your God is false and reflective of the people who wrote the Bible.

And if I had left it to my husband to be the spiritual head of the household, we still wouldn't be attending church. Sometimes a woman has to just step up to the plate.

I really don't think that God had an issue with that as my husband was finally baptized 4 years ago, after me taking him to church for 10.

And when the "men" step up to the life God instructed for them.... Then come back with the above verses. If a man hands over his position of "Priest" of the household- then how can those verses truly apply? You can not pick here & there to make it suit..

I have no problem with that. Women actually got the better deal since they are less accountable to God than the men.

Isn't that just like muslim women demanding equal rights? How can they be part of a religion that openly says they are secondary? Equal rights for all is definitely NOT a religious tradition.

"You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:26-28
