...that technically, Venus must be hotter than Hell. The logic was that: Hell has a pit of molten sulfer, which turns to gas at a certain temperature. Therefore, Hell must be below that temperature, and Venus is above that temperature.

value our freedoms and even fight and die for those freedoms....but when it comes to religion some of us denigrate and belittle people who don't believe/agree with us. Why do some of us do that? It comes across as Anti-American...it's not what we're supposed to be about as a people.

Me + my friends yesterday were at the mall, we were just hanging around, inside the mall by the entrance to the right. Some girl was going to pass to me and my friends saying "excuse me" in a very very very rude way, so she can go inbetween us by leaving to the entrance. But there was 3 exits and why couldn't she instead leave to the other exits, like what her other friend did that she was with. We were pissed, but my one of my friends all of a sudden blured out "B*tch" and all of my other friends including me were like "don't say that!" there was almost a confict, but it ended soon and no physical fight. Anywho this security cop of the mall came up to us and told us not to curse and not to hang out by the the entrance, we were like fine, we understood that, even my friend who got involve even said "sorry" to the cop. I'm in my last year of high school. I have a friend who now ignores me because of someone else. We've been friends for about 8 years now. Just some months ago, a new person called Jade, started my school. My friend, dave, became good friends with her. Now all of a sudden he has completely forgotten me. He even passes me in corridors without even saying a word to me. He deleted my contact from his yahoo messenger. Now i just found out he had a birthday party and didn't even invite me? how can that be??? we tell each other everything. I'm really sad about it, and now i don't even know whether i want anymore friends, if that's what friendship is all about, i'd rather be alone. He recently sent me a three word email saying 'how's it going'. But i didn't reply. He pretends as if he doesn't know what he's done. I think i'm done with friends as this isn't the first time this has happened. Maybe i'm better off alone.

If we believe the Genesis account, then we can take it two ways:
Life was created in 6 (24 hour) days, which goes against science
Or that life was created in 6 erra's, which does not directly go against science.
The Day-Age Theory seems to have some merit, afterall there was no Hebrew word to describe an erra or time span...other than day (yôma). For example, the (Hebrew) scriptures reffered to "Gods day" (using the same Hebrew word 'yôma' for a different meaning). This was not a litiral 24 hour peroid, but a peroid of time. Therefore, the Hebrew word day (yôma), needs to be translated into the right english word according to the context.

He gave us dominion and let us inhabit the earth and WE are the ones to blame for the way things have turned out!!! WE are the ones to blame for the countless messes and mishaps of this world. God cries because of the manner in which we have ran things. It is a shame that you blame God, the one that loves us so much and the one who sent His only Son to Die on the cross to pay the price IN FULL for the Sins of the ENTIRE world. We as humans should be ashamed of what we have done to this once beautiful world we USED to live in. You amongst others need to look in the mirror if you're going to point fingers at someone to blame for the problems of this world. I'm trying to figure out which path to take. I know your not suppose to pick a path soley based on how cool it is but if I'm gonna be devoting all my time into I might as well like my abilities right Ive already tried a couple different paths I was interested in Psi magicks and I learned how to make Pyi energy ball thingy but i couldnt make it visual just warmer and colder but it bored me a bit I was also interested in summoning because I like the concept but call chicken I'm afriad of demons should I be ? Although I do like having a spirit who'd be just like me I was also Into Necromancy because of being able to control servitor thingys but the whole death thing creeps me out:p . Based on my interest which path do you think suits me.

In Christianity it's a garden where you frollic about...wow how original. In Islam it's pretty much the same thing except some Muslims NOT ALL believe you'll get 70 virgins or something of the sort.
Yet Hinduism has this neat idea of Nirvana and total oneness with the universe. Now that has pizazz!

How will Christians explain to their ancestors their having abandoned the tribal gods and folkways?

What would happen if we looked at a muslim terrorist as a child of God? What would happen if we looked at an atheist not as a rebellious hard headed jerk but as a child of God?
