What would happen if we looked at a muslim terrorist as a child of God? What would happen if we looked at an atheist not as a rebellious hard headed jerk but as a child of God? The world would be a much better place. people we need to be living our faith and not sending hate mails to non- believers. what is that doing for us? nothing. it's making the Christian faith look bad.

.."... for we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, hateful, and hating one another. But after the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteoudness we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us,..." (Titus 3:3)

It didn't know anyone didn't look at terrists and not being children of God. The reality is that the bible teaches not all are going to acheive salvation and people like Muslim Terrorists have taken a path damning them to hell and killing others in the process. A person of faith has to recognize the inherent evil of a persons behavior - that is part of each of our spiritual journey's on this planet. I have never seen a religious person of any faith (unless they are the type who 'talks the talk' but wont 'walk the walk'). That is the will of god or god would not give us freedom of will and freedom of choice.

Good Luck!!!

It does make the body as a whole look bad.

What would happen if we saw everyone as a child of God? We'd be heading in the right direction.

Share two stories...one is about when the Israelites were rescued the Red Sea...and all the angels were celebrating God's great victory...when one angel asked another one where was God...and the second angel answered "He's on His throne crying." When asked why He was crying.. the second answered "He mourns for His children who drowned."

I also remember working with my Bible study group...had them recite the famous verse..."for God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son"

After we said it a few times..we went through it again...having them repeat after me..."for God.....(repeat)...so loved (gave name of our pastor)...He gave His only son"...."For God (repeat) so loved (gave name of worship leader)...He gave His only son".

Well, we did this about 5 times...but it was a good lesson for us all when they were repeating everything real fast, until I threw in the name Osama Bin Ladden.

Wasn't being a smart alec....was wanting us to all learn what "all of the world" really means.

I can agree about the hate mail... those of The True Christian Faith are not to hate... and all are children of God... but if a muslim who is sworn to kill me, because I refuse to submit to the law of islam, as he is to do accourding to the koran, is comeing at me with a sword... I am going to defend myself by any means necessary. Nothing in The Word of God precludes a Christian from self defence...as for the atheists... offer The Truth of The Good News... that is our commission... if they refuse... that is thei loss... but if they try to legislate against us... we are free to legislate against them.... at least for the time being in the USA while it lasts.

Are you accusing all Christians of sending out hate mail? Maybe its athiests or muslims who are sending the mail and saying they are Christians; or has that thought never entered your mind? I hate
no one. I do not send hate mail to anyone, either.

Yes, to paraphrase mother's saying into Christ's teachings "If you can't say the truth in a loving way, don't say anything at all."

Now, if after hearing the truth in a loving way the lost hate you, don't be surprised. Just "shake the dust" from your keyboard and move to the next question.

I think you're heart is in the right place but you need to look at them as we once were. They are fallen persons in need of a Savior. To look at them as children of God gets off into the I'm OK, you're OK thing and will result only in them dying in their sins because you didn't bother to tell them the truth.
What if no one had ever bothered sharing Christ with you?
Where would you be now? You wouldn't even be wanting to concider others as children of God.

The Muslim terrorist? I'd blow his head off, then be a good Christian later by being sorry for it.

Atheists? I leave them alone as it is. Despite all their brazen attitudes, the joke is actually on them. Every "tick" that a clock makes, is another second closer to them becoming worm food.

Well a bit of common sense at last. you were obviously listening to the real teachings. Hallelujah! The thing is, can you actually live it in everyday life! now there's the rub!

Just b/c you were created by God that does not make you a child of God....

And sometimes, even the children of God need a woopin and a swift kick to the back of their pants!
