Just curious, but is it one of those teddy bears that you push the paw and it speaks? Whichever, it's a good idea anyway.

If this is coming from your stuffed teddy bear, I would have a hard time believing he meant it...
But if you mean that people should not tell lies if it gets someone in trouble, or to save yourself at the expense of someone else, then I agree.

Rv:21:8: But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Anyone who lies and continues to lie, without ceasing from lying, is in fact a liar. You are no longer a liar, if you repent of your lying, and never lie again, then and only then are you no longer a liar, but if you lie and repent, and lie and repent, and lie and repent, and you continue to lie, and you continue to repent, you are still a liar. A thief is a thief as long as he/she continues to steal things. A liar is a liar as long as he/she continues to lie. All liars shall have their part in the lake of fire and brimstone, there will be many who will be weeping and gnashing their teeth because of the above verse, because they did not cease from their lying, but continued to lie and think they were still Heaven bound based on doctrines of men, and not what Scriptures teach.
