She is a 55 yr. old Mexican lady and has a 16 yr. old son. We were going to help her son order his school clothes online so they would be cheaper, but she is so mean now! I was talking to her kid outside about the clothes and she yelled really badly from inside at him about not talking to people.
She said hello to me before, but now she won't speak to me.
I have to live here in this apartment for at least 6 more months and now it's just uncomfortable. What should I do??

So it's really hard keeping a straight face at work because my supervisor is beyond a christian. She speaks in tongues she is involved in every group in her church, etc. I have no problem with her being religious or anything it's just gotten out of hand lately. She always has something to say about gay people...She refers to them as ****** and all types of non sense and the other day I heard her conversation to one of her friends saying she would never hire a gay person...So now I'm like great I can never come out at work because I will lose my job. And I am openly out so it's really hard not to say stuff about my partner and stuff.

Does anybody have any advice as to how I can deal with this? It's getting so hard for me not to tell where to shove it. lol!

*And for you anti-gay people...Leave your comments to yourself.

Thanks.

read the book, disproving intelligent design. the name gives it away. if there is no intellegent design, then waht is there? unitellligent design is oxymoronic because design means, 'from a well thought out sign, a plan'. Some evolutionists made a computer simulator of the process. It came up that it is a 1 to 26*13* power chance for each species to have been properly created randomly. The smae people took a monkey and set it down at a computer, with the computer discarding the right and wrong letters, it took him 26*13* power tries in 5 hours to write "to be or not to be", which had been programed as the correct code. What does that mean? That there had to be some WISDOM of BAD and GOOD to be put in, in the beginning of the process do determine when the selected term had been reached. So what are the odds? a completely random process suceeded a 1 to 26*13* power chance for each species to walk the earth, or an all knowing omnipotent G-d decided to breath life into a void planet?

Like a mechanical motor, each part in the flagellar motor is absolutely necessary for the whole to function. Therefore, I couldn't logically deduce any naturalistic, gradual, evolutionary explanation for the existence of a bacterial flagellum. Besides, no one would expect an outboard motor, whether mechanical or biological, to be the product of a chance assemblage of parts. Outboard motors are designed and engineered!

I like to learn new things and I do like to play with tools sometimes, probably more than most girls. I know how to take my computer apart and put new parts in...and I have changed a tire on the side of the road with no help. But I notice that the average guy finds things like this easier than girls. I get angry when guys figure out how to work things or how to fix something faster than I could.

And like I said I am better than a lot of girls, I bet. Some chicks can't do ANYTHING. I have seen it, they are hopeless.

Is it just the way guys are brought up? Like, their fathers teach them things? Or is it that we as girls are made differently?

Even when I am doing something like when I had the computer apart...I was getting a little frustrated and the thought crossed my mind that "this would be a lot easier if I was a guy".

Does anyone have any ideas about this? Its a bit puzzling and upsetting b/c I like to think we are all equal and I HATE when a male can do something that I cant do.

Why do Christians call homosexuality an abomination but ignore the other verses where certain things are also called abomination:
Example
Proverbs 6:16 - 18 lists six abominations: "haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief."
Cheating in the market by using rigged weights (Deuteronomy 25:13-19
Remarrying the person one previously divorced (Deuteronomy 24:4)
Being proud in heart (Proverbs 16:5) and many more...

So Christians why do u single out homosexuality as abomination, and when u lie or eat pork do u think: Lord I’m doing an abomination, forgive me

Summer Solstice -- an ancient pagan celebration in Europe and elsewhere in the Northern Hemisphere -- seemed a fitting release date for J. K. Rowling's fifth book.

strengthen the notion that rage, rudeness and rebellion are cool as well as okay. It doesn't help that millions of children around the world are encouraged to feed their minds with images such as this:
"Harry longed to bite the man. . . but he must master the impulse. He had more important work to do. But the man was stirring. . . Harry saw his vibrant, blurred outline towering above him, saw a wand withdrawn from a belt. . . . He had no choice. . . . He reared high from the floor and struck once, twice, three times, plunging his fangs deeply into the man’s flesh..
