read the book, disproving intelligent design. the name gives it away. if there is no intellegent design, then waht is there? unitellligent design is oxymoronic because design means, 'from a well thought out sign, a plan'. Some evolutionists made a computer simulator of the process. It came up that it is a 1 to 26*13* power chance for each species to have been properly created randomly. The smae people took a monkey and set it down at a computer, with the computer discarding the right and wrong letters, it took him 26*13* power tries in 5 hours to write "to be or not to be", which had been programed as the correct code. What does that mean? That there had to be some WISDOM of BAD and GOOD to be put in, in the beginning of the process do determine when the selected term had been reached. So what are the odds? a completely random process suceeded a 1 to 26*13* power chance for each species to walk the earth, or an all knowing omnipotent G-d decided to breath life into a void planet?

There is still no evidence of a God, therefore I have no reason to believe that such an entity exists. Sure, I could assume there's a God if I just wanted to think so, but such a belief wouldn't be based upon any facts or evidence to support it.

You seem to misunderstand some of the core concepts of evolution- but that's not surprsing since most authors and propents of Intelligent Design don't seem to understand them, either. You are corect on one point- if we take away the intelligent, the idea of design makes no sense. That's because it isn't a design.

The world as we know it the result of processes taking place over millions of years, it's not random. Genetic mutations are random, but which ones actually become widespread in populations is anything but...

First- We have WAY too little data to get any kind of meaningful estimate for how hard it is to make life. If it turns out that there is or was rudimentary life on Mars (and there is evidence of that) any long shot number is absurd.

Second there are enough stars to make even those odds easily doable.

Third it is nearly impossible to define was life even is. Viruses are arguably both alive and not alive. They can build them (from scratch) in the lab. You give me a clear definition of what is alive and what isn't and I can show you where they have crossed that line in the lab. They have completely built new genomes and made new bacteria using only membranes from things that were alive. In a few years they will be able to do it totally from scratch. Life isn't as magical as you think.

Fourth: I dare you to email a link to a peer reviewed paper that backs up a damn thing that you have said. Mine are in the sources.

This shows two things:

Firstly, you don't understand evolution. It is not 100% random. The genetic mutations that occur ARE random. But the process by which they are selected (natural selection) is not. Therefore your 26*13 value is wrong. Seriously, just read a book or two and you'll understand.

Secondly, there is so much circular logic and false axioms in here that it makes for depressing reading.

Please, just read a few books. Then you'll have a little bit of an education and will be able to contemplate both sides of the arguement.

What is the chance of life existing on ANY planet? Almost but not quite nil.
But the possibility of life existing on ONE planet is 100%, because we are here.

Now, what is the probability that this is not the only inhabited planet in the entire universe?

I would guess close to 100%, because nothing else makes sense.

Yeah one I'm pretty sure you made those numbers up. Second the universe has infinite space. Something that happens ever 26*13* power times will still happen infinite times given infinite chance. So you have proved nothing except that there is a chance

Muslims, Jews and Christians all have a Monotheistic God in undemanding and that i've got confidence all have Abraham in undemanding. in case you're curious on the subject of the origins of religion, there's a e book out I observed on television entitled "the place God became into Born" or some thing like "The Land the place God became into Born", i did now not get the author's call however the e book shops in all likelihood have it

You're correct. It is entirely improbable to the point of absurdity to say that life happened randomly. Evolution does not say it happened randomly however. Your argument is spurrious, and you seem to lack a fundamental knowledge about the debate. You spout clichéd aphorisms, and think you're making a valid point. Remember, "god" is nothing more than a nonsense word created by man to explain away all of the things we can't yet understand.

Religion is a disease of the mind, born of fear, which has done nothing but bring untold misery down upon the human race.
