They are all very good people..all of these people in both religions love God, are kind, honest, loving people..What makes them different than Christians of other religions?..They don't accept the Trinity..?..Wonder why they are such good people and yet get such a bad rap..

I agree that you have to accept all three in order to be a true Christian..what a wonderful thing it would be if these people..would accept Christ as their Lord and Savior..Instead of believing in a man made religion and following man. They are all good people who want to worship God, but are mislead..

Because being a "good person" and "believing in God" does not save you.

The core of salvation is wrapped around a judicial system. Sin is breaking of God's law. All have sinned, and the wages of sin is death. The only way to have sin be dealt with is to gain a pardon. The pardon is offered as a free gift to all who wish to receive it.

The Christian is called upon to be a witness. A witness of the truth, and a witness to those who pervert the message. This is a legal matter within the spiritual world. Both Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses--as nice as they are--are a false witness that pervert the Gospel that can save them.

i would not challenge approximately no count if or now not human beings call a church a cult. recently, this be conscious has been tossed around by using persons who choose to discredit somebody else's faith. I personaly have confidence that the clarification human beings call JW's and Mormons cults is by using the fact they have energetic missionary courses that lead human beings faraway from different church homes. this is offensive to them. maximum mainstream Christian church homes could fairly seep ameliorations decrease than the rug and pretend tha the are all ok. JW's do missionary artwork. So what? Mormons shop on with residing prophets in an attempt to worship Jesus Christ. So did each and all of the persons in the bible. the sole people who do in contrast to a prophet are people who stay on the comparable time.

Your Question exposes your naivete'.Perhaps If you look into the Origins of the other so called Christian Religions you may be Surprised, although I,m not holding my breath. For instance the Catholic Church which is supposed to be the " First" Church has IDOLS in it. That in of itself is against the Very Teachings and precepts of the Bible.
Peter was Never a Pope. Infact there were some years when there was 2 Popes. Some years when there was No Pope. Plus all the Present Religions are an Offshoot of the Catholic Church.
On the Point of the Trinity. The word itself is Not found in the Bible. Not Moses, not Jesus, None of the early disciples believed in the Trinity. The Jewish people back then and those Today dont subscribe to a 3 in 1 God.
Perhaps you could recite the " Lord's prayer and ask yourself, why would Jesus Teach his disciples to pray as such " Our Father, let YOUR Kingdom come... YOUR will be Done on earth as it is In heaven.
It comes as No surprise that many people Claim to have Jesus as their personal Savior yet do not follow his teachings...(Matthew 15:7-9)

The Sanhedrin's and the Jew's thought they were the ONLY ones, the untouchables, the smarter than the average bear's, and what happened to them. They were favorites, right there in front of the line; now the tables have turned. The Gentiles are now where the Jew's once was.
Matthew 19:30 But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
Matthew 20:26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, (27) and whoever wants to be first must be your slave (28) just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
When the Holy Spirit fills your body 1 Corinthians ch. 13 (all of it) comes alive in you and that overflow comes out of
you.................Love conquers all.

it is something that the ones who got disfellowshipped, all of a sudden we are brainwashed and a cult. when they where witnesses, they where not a cult or brainwashed. they rather slander Jehovah Witnesses and the ones who know nothing about Jehovah Witnesses rather listen to lies. learn what we are all about. Jesus never said he was God, even the 12 disciples said that Jesus was the son of the Most Holy Father Jehovah. when Jesus was on the stake he said Father forgive them. when he prayed he prayed to his Father in the heaven, you cannot pray to yourself. also there is no place in the bible about the trinity. we are a true religion. do not listen to the ones who got disfellowshipped and they know who they are. see our website at www.watchtower.org

Mormons follow the bible to a tee. Somebody mentioned we deny the trinity. THAT IS FALSE. We beleve in god the father, his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. We accept them as our god head. What i dont get is how bashing other peoples religions is going to help you get to Heaven. It says in the scripture that he who has the spirit of contention is going to Hell. Plain and simple. We, as Mormons, are Christians and follow Christ's teaching and we follow the teachings and practices that were taught through the Primitive And Origional Church of Christ, Founded by Christ. We are Good People and alot of people like to make up lies and half truths or misunderstandings about us. The people in Utah, who still practice Polygomy are the Fundamentalist and in now way related to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Um, right.
After reading every1's commentary, it's rather obvious that many ppl commenting on the subject are misinformed/mislead themselves. I don't have much to say that hasn't already been said by the defenders of truth, but I still wanted 2points, go figure.

BTW, have any of the bashers (you know who you are) bothered to actually look at those words on the pages of that book that you claim to live by?

Being a good person will never get anyone to Heaven. The scriptures bear this out. A few of the many verses that prove this are below.

Isaiah 64:6 - "All OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS in the sight of God is as filthy rags."

Jeremiah 17:9 - "The heart is DECEITFUL above all things and DESPERATELY WICKED; who can know it."

Psalms 39:5 - "Man at his VERY BEST STATE is ALTOGETHER VANITY."

Romans 3:10-12 - "Man is sinful and THERE IS NOT ONE RIGHTEOUS PERSON - NO NOT ONE."

It doesn't matter what religious system anyone subscribes to or how good and honest they might deem themselves to be or others may deem them to be, the only way to get right with God is found in the Bible. John 14:6 - "Jesus saith unto them, I am THE WAY (not one of many); THE TRUTH (the center and source of all truth) and THE LIFE (there is no real life apart from Him who is the creator of life). *my words in brackets* NO MAN COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME."

Acts 4:12 - "NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER; for THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN whereby we MUST be saved." (this is speaking of Jesus which can be ascertained by reading the preceding verses).

It is not head belief or religious systems or our own good works that lead to salvation or Christ bled and died in vain. Salvation is only on the other side of the Cross. Faith in the work of Jesus Christ for the salvation of our souls is the only acceptable way to find favor with God. While Mormons say they believe this they are seriously in error concerning Christ and Satan and their relationship with one another, among other things. The Jehovah's witnesses deny scripture through their rejection Christ as God incarnate and the atoning sacrifice for sin.

Since the Christians believe that right knowledge of who Christ is and what He has done are the most important factors in people entering Heaven or Hell forever, we consider the misinterpretation of this doctrine to be of the greatest significance and can't allow belief that contradicts them to go unchallenged.

It is possible to be sincerely nice and still be sincerely wrong. The terrible part of that is there are many nice, sincere people being led astray at the peril of their immortal souls. There is no goodness in that.

Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians who accept Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. He is our King and we look forward to living under his righteous rulership over the earth.
Human rulers can never accomplish what our reigning King will do for mankind. They cannot end crime, terrorism, sickness, poverty, homelessness or most importantly--death itself.
Jesus as King will put an end to all those things that now plague us. As his loyal subjects, we await the time when he will act in our behalf.
The faithful ones born before Jesus came to earth, did not believe in any man-made trinity doctrine. They believed in and worshiped only one God, whose name alone is Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) These ones, including Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will be resurrected in Jehovah's due time and will enjoy perfect peace here on earth along with all meek ones, under the reign of Jehovah's Son, and this governmental rule will last forever.
(Daniel 2:44)

Because people do not understand our beliefs. See the link below about how we (LDS) are not a cult (in the manner people believe the word cult is defined. I think they all need to buy dictionaries so they can learn that ALL religions are cults.) Jeff Lindsay answers this question MUCH better than I can.

First of all people to understand the religion before making comments. Mormon's dont marry underage girls and they dont practice polygamy that a whole different group they are called FLDS... first thing people need to understand is the religion they talk of! for instance Mormons believe in a prophet that's not in the bible and have a separate book called the book of Mormon. catholics pray thru Mary and have a separate book for it so what is catholic now a cult!! They have Amazing family values and are the nicest people you will probably meet on this earth!! and their church helps those who need help!! ANYONE Mormon or not!! they get the bad rap because people dont really understand their religion!! They love the Lord and talk about their religion to anyone who listens! so listen and make a choice for your self dont listen to second hand material! am not mormon but i lived in utah! great people! cant say about Jehovah's witness i donno em
