Does anybody know the latin translation for "keep breathing"? I would like to get it as a tattoo, but I don't know what the translation is. If anybody could help me out that would be wonderful! Thanks!

Christians. Free will you say? We all have free will and we either choose God or we don't. Right? Okay. So then tell me this, what made YOU choose God and an atheist NOT choose God? Explain to me how one chooses and one doesn't. The ONLY POSSIBLE explanation is that those who choose are born with the genetic leaning towards religioous belief (genetic makeup w/ a predispostion to believing in a higher power) and environmental influences (neighborhood, parents, etc.) If these are not the factors that determine how one "chooses" God... please explain what made you able to choose him and what makes some one else UNABLE to choose him. Doesn't there have to be SOMETHING that seperates you from those who don't believe? Think before you answer please. I'm begging you. Please. THINK!!!

P.S. Again, I am a Christian who does not want to hide behind weak justifications that don't make sense. I want REAL answers to life's hardest questions.

My mother in-law has a habit of giving us things (we don't ask) just give us something then want it back. For instance we needed some blankets she gave us some of her old and I mean old like the stuffing was coming out with out us asking. We used them for awhile and when we could afford some we bought some and threw those out because they were falling apart. She got bent out of shape and said we should of given it back. My feeling it was a gift if I only used it one day or never once you give it to someone it is gone. I have given people stuff like baby clothes or whatever and I don't want it back. I don't even ask if they use it. It was a gift if they want to give it to someone else that is there business. This is just one in a long list of different examples of things she has given us then wants to know how often, duration, and frequency of use. Or will out right ask for it back and say she just loaned it to us even though she said this is for you because I don't need it anymore. She now gets mad because we don't accept anything from her anymore not even Christmas gifts because we are tired of the way she acts. Are we the ones wrong or is it her ?

I live 2 hours away so when I go there I stay for 2 nights. On the other hand his roommates girlfriend stays there 3 or 4 nights a week & isnt asked to pay anything. My boyfriend & I were having problems & after 2 years i moved out. him and an aquaintance needed a place to stay so they joined together, went looking at houses and signed the lease with just them 2. is it ridiculous for his roommate 2 ask me 2 pay rent when none of my stuff is in that house? i visit and stay 2 nights. while his girlfriend stays more often. is it wrong of my boyfriend to not say hey if i want her to stay 3 nights it shouldnt be a problem? my boyfriend says hed like me to stay longer but doesnt want to cause problems. but i think he should be more of a man & stand up to his roommate. & his roommmate & his girlfriend always give me the cold shoulder. they never try 2 be nice 2 me but theyll sit there & have a good ol' conversation with my boyfriend while completely ignoring me. is it wrong for me to be upset

Do you find them ugly, pretty, a turnoff, etc....

I know that the too groups look different...but I'm being very general.

Also please don't give me the "every race has some pretty people and ugly people" or "everyone beautiful." because I want some real feeling when you see one walk down the street.

Btw most, like me have black hair, brown eyes and tan skin.

My friend was going through his freezer, and found a jewelry box. He opened it and saw that inside it, someone had spelled out his girlfriend's name in salt.

He suspects his mother, since she seemed embarrassed when he brought it up.

We're guessing that it's his mother hoping for him to propose to his girlfriend, but neither of us has ever heard of this particular practice or superstition before. Any help would be appreciated!

You read about how moses split a lake in half then closed it up with his cane and how Jesus walked on water and came back to life after his death. Why don't these phenomenal miracles happen anymore now that we have technology and could undeniably put the issue to rest? Is it because these people were fooled into believing something that was simply a magic trick? Chris Angel does amazing things that are unexplainable today, but we don't call him a prophet.

Some might say miracles DO happen today. They will point to medical miracles like people getting better from sickness. However I'm talking about the real undeniable miracles that happened in the bible such as what moses did. Some of them like turning water to wine have already been confirmed to be simple magic tricks.

I have a sister that is going through a child custody thing with her ex, I told her she might be able to find someone on yahoo answers that can help her out. Her ex is a gay man that uses gay rights to manipulate the court. Well, she asked the question on here and as soon as she mentioned that her ex is gay, everyone was defensive about it, gays and straight people. Well, I am not against gay people and I am not a gay basher, but, I do not believe it should be represented in court, I don't have anything against gays and they can be just as good parents as straight people and they can be just as bad as any straight person also. I know this particular man is not a good person or parent, not because he's gay, its just his whole attitude. I don't think gay people should get special treatment, just because they are gay, being gay is not a handicap, it is a chosen way of life and they should be treated like everyone else. Is gay such a sensitive topic that they should get everything?

With the ever increasing population of Atheists/Non-believers in the world, why isn't the world always in constant Atheistic chaos? Why aren't all Atheists out carving "No God" in the corpses of their victims, then speeding off in their possessions while raping their youth on the way?
