Does anybody know the latin translation for "keep breathing"? I would like to get it as a tattoo, but I don't know what the translation is. If anybody could help me out that would be wonderful! Thanks!

Continua spirare = Keep on breathing. Literally, 'Keep on to breathe'. Latin used the infinitive in some places where English uses the '-ing' form.

oh my goodness, there are so many wrong ones.

Please please don't put any of the above on your body, except maybe the Reverend's...

I would say "etiam spira" but even that is prone to be argued with.

How about this, from Catullus? "Perfer et obdura"

carry on and persist

It has the advantage of a couple thousand years of being quoted, plus, it was written by a native Latin speaker.

It's probably not a good idea to get tattoos on your body that are in a foreign language.

And if you do, it's an even better idea not to rely on the knuckleheads on the Internet for an accurate translation...

The Reverend has a good point; two, actually :-) Nevertheless, I suggest:

perge suspire

It's the singular imperative of the verb for "to continue, to keep on" (the plural is "pergite"), and the infinitive of the verb "to breath." With Latin, it's best to find the phrase used by the ancients, but that's my best, non-expert, guess.
