Look at the media, Islam is literally getting crucified. If you see a beheading you cry murder. Although you are not sure what crimes that man committed. He might of been an actual terrorist.

5:1 ration of Palestinians dying compared to Isreaelis. But only the Jewsish deaths reported. (MORE INNOCENT Palestinians HAVE DIED THAN JEWISH)

This leads to my argument of the Christian religion. Allah himself says the Christians go heaven (and the Jews) that followed Jesus original message, People say the bible hasn't changed. But the fact was God never promised to preserve the Bible, He did promise to preserve the Quran.

Look at church, "Jesus is love" Jesus forgives" Jesus never said these things. Jesus is love statement, do your research this is a man made statement, thrown into christainity.

My question is could men from before have poisoned Jesus true message into saying he was a god, thus him returning to correct the distorted statement?

Fireball226 AKA 666 believes that god & religion is not based on a book (as she stated in her anser about Stephen King). If this is the case then, why bother reading the bible?

If we spend all our time arguing denominational issues on y/a and in life, what time is there left to actually do what Christ commanded of us?
I see nothing that He said that indicates that we are to try to convert our fellow Christians to Christianity.
Why are we going around in circles and wasting our time and energy debating whether fundamentalist Christians are different from Catholics who are looked upon by other denominations as...
I've seen people say on here that Catholics aren't Christians! Well, if they believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and that He died for them to save them from their sins and that He is the Son of God that qualifies them as Christians. Did I miss any of the basic qualifications?
Please, let's respect each other, in Jesus' Name.

Like honestly. Too many people here think God is an actual name. Like Bob or something. I mean, thats just weak conceptual understanding, in my opinion. So who here thinks that God's name is 'God'? Please, no biblical references. Ill Just laugh.

The question occured to me after the earthquake in Peru. If God creates earth quakes does this mean he punishes innocent people for no reason? If he does not create earthquakes doesn't this mean he has no control over it? Does this also mean he cannot prevent earthqueakes?

itself would be just a natural and normal process within the wheel of life, many Christians believe that their parents, or grandparents in heaven are watching over them or believe that they (the beloved passed) are agents of God as an angel, or acting as one, caring for their welfare, protecting them and waiting for them so they can be joined together again. Is this not just an idea that is distantly related to the practice of necromancy?

I was reading King's book It. In it he talks about a place called Maine. I looked on my map and there it was. He also talks about a guy named Mickey Mantle. It turns out this guy played baseball in real life. Are his books real?? Because I don't want to be eaten by a sewer clown. I'm scared.

I ask this because this is exactly the kind of historical "evidence" that christians say is in the bible. So if metioning the names of kings and cities makes the bible real why is It ficiton?

My cousin was a vulnerable, shy kind of guy. He was a loner. The mormons invited themselves around to his house & they befriended him & brainwashed him. They took advantage of someone so weak minded. They had somewhat of a secret business friendship that his parents didnt know about & then, out of the blue, he committed suicide. It is a fact that the mormons influenced his last moments. What is their secret? What could they have said for him to want to kill himself?

And you wonder why i dont like religion, (to be less aggressive)

I saw a video on, I think it was youtube, and it depicted Catholics in South America undergoing some really harsh penance. These people were rather raw and bloody by the time they were done. I have heard of this being a Catholic in Florida with may immigrant friends, but until I saw it I didn't really thik much of it. What do you make of this sort of thing and how would you explain it to a Protestant or an un-believer?

My mum is disabled and doesn't get out much, I suggested a college course, something like flower arranging or cake decorating, she needs something where she can sit down but she can use her hands but not really fiddly things.
She isnt interested in anything computer or accademic.
Also is there a website i can find some local courses on as our local college doesnt do anything suitable.
We live in worksop.

For months now I have had an extra layer of skin growing on the side of my hand. Well today I had had enoguhb and decided to bite it off leaving a small hole. I chewed on the skin for a while not trying to eat it, but then thought heh why not. And so I ate it. It actually went down really easy and tasted pretty good. Does that make me a cannibal??
