I was reading King's book It. In it he talks about a place called Maine. I looked on my map and there it was. He also talks about a guy named Mickey Mantle. It turns out this guy played baseball in real life. Are his books real?? Because I don't want to be eaten by a sewer clown. I'm scared.

I ask this because this is exactly the kind of historical "evidence" that christians say is in the bible. So if metioning the names of kings and cities makes the bible real why is It ficiton?

Somehow, I think your reasoning is lost on them. "God sent them strong delusion, that they would believe a lie." All they have to do is take off the church goggles and they can see that the New Testement is not all it's cracked up to be. But hey, what do I know, I'm just some dude that gets information from more than one source. How could I ever understand the word of god if I look at the evidence that proves it isn't true?

his books can contain fiction or historical fiction he has many books and short stories that are historicaly acurate and many that are not there are usually some bits of truth hidden in them! for example i read a short story and there was a snake in it the description of the snake matches one of some new snake they found but not the symptoms of the bite!!!

Sure thing, I think I can help you ... now try to keep up! I know, it's hard, but try okay?!

Stephen King writes about things that did not happen in places that do exist and the Bible is about things that did happen in places that did/do exist.

I wrote it slowly so you might absorb it easier. I know, it's hard, you might have to read that a few times to get it, but we have faith in you! We really do!
