Like honestly. Too many people here think God is an actual name. Like Bob or something. I mean, thats just weak conceptual understanding, in my opinion. So who here thinks that God's name is 'God'? Please, no biblical references. Ill Just laugh.

God is not God's name... It's like saying, "your honor" or "my liege"...

God's real name is supposed to be some big secret. It is said that if you discover the name (which has 26 letters) and speak it, the world will end. There is a movie called PI which ties the elements of the ratio PI with the real name of God.

God is just a title. His name is translated in many different languages from the tetranomicrom YHWH; Hebrew for Yahweh. God does refers to himself as "God" in many instances in the Bible.

Ok, I wont add biblical references, I will just tell the story. God revealed His name to Moses. It is "I Am that I AM" and it was written in the Hebrew letters YHWH. It means things like "eternal" or "self- existing"

I AM that I AM the LORD God.

God Most High.

God Almighty.

So? Even though God's Name isn't God, Allah, Ellohim, El Elyon, etc... This is Gods title. Meaning the Supreme Deity.

God also writes His Everlasting Name Is...Yahweh Elohim the El Elyon. Elohim is God and is attached to Yahweh (LORD).

A name is how we identify ourselves and how others identify you. GOD is quite fitting. It is a word. It is the best word I have. You understand it, so it fulfills it purpose.
