It's just a book people! There is no evidence of God what so ever. You people that call yourselves "Christians" are merely just HOPING for God to be real and there to be a Heaven, there is no scientific evidence of God and science is the truth so how can it be real?

If you consider atheism to be a religion in and of itself, then do you also consider theism to be a religion in itself?

And how do you account for people like me who have a religion, but are atheists? I'm a non-theistic Pagan. Do I have two religions, then? And many Buddhists are also non-theistic.

Can we please agree that lack of belief does not a religion make? Otherwise I'm lableing all of you non-FSMists. Because you lack belief in His Noodly Goodness.

How often do we hear "I did not come from a monkey" or "Evolution is just a theory"? Far too often, at least in my experience. The opponents of evolution always seem to focus on the myths and false claims about evolution and never on the facts. Could it be they do not know the facts, or are they willfully ignorant?

This is a complicated question which cannot be correctly answered with just a quick comment. It actually involves thinking and perhaps a little bit of research. I asked a question earlier and the atheists were name calling and assuming everyones mental except them, why the anger and abuse?

I have a theory. Lets say a believer has something bad happen to him, like his wife cheating with his better looking brother. This turns the beliver to an atheist because them being less better looking was not in their hands. only God. This turns into a rebellion.

In my previous question I explained that God gives health,food, sight etc. Then someone responds that their relative has cancer and died. Firstly Moses, Noah etc died, what gives you the thought your relatives are so special to others? Everyone dies everyone gets sick. To be living a happy lifetime forever in this life is the true fairytale of atheists, much more than the way atheists mock God/Heaven/etc.

Father God your Word says that where two or more come together to agree in Your Name You are there in their presence listening to attend to our prayers and petitions.
We come together now for You to do what You can do, all believers in agreement on this, for Father You know every need in this situation.
Father we ask you to protect the workers who are out there. We ask you Father that if there are some who are still alive you will give them peace and comfort them. Place your angels round about them, let them know you are with them.
The families, loved ones Father I ask you touch the heart of your people there to seek these out and comfort them.

i have been dating a boy for 2 years and he is going to college next week. we started dating my freshman year and he was a jr. i have seen him almost every day since then. he is a really good Christian. He always helps me whenever i am struggling with anything and he continually prays for me for all of my problems. God really comes first in his life. background on me.. i am also a Christian and i seek God in all that i do and i try to put Him first in all that i do also. i really believe that my boyfriend now is who God wants me to marry. He thinks this also. we both have great relationships with our own family and each others family. the other night i couldn't go to sleep. so i got my mom and i cried myself to sleep. last night i was riding with him and i started crying so he hugged me and that made it worse. i am not worried about him dating anyone else. i am upset because i will miss him.. but i trust him completely. Do you know of any bible verses to comfort me for this? thankyou

guys with respect .... if there are to be no end times ... if our energy , our thoughts are what makes this world as it is ...
then perhaps your waiting for the end times and wishing for the second coming is what is holding the world back from having true peace ?

Why do people think that if everyone was gay we would cease to exist as a race?

We have so many technological means of having children now, that it would be very simple continue reproducing. Gay men could donate their sperm which would be implanted in willing lesbians to conceive children, just like what is already going on (although not EXACTLY like that). At least our population would be in control. And we would actually have no unwanted children.

This isn't really a serious question, but I just wanted to point out that inconsistency.

I'd get the money upfront and would only lose it if I opt-out of the bet:

I'd have to be at my friends house at 7:00 AM tomorrow, and I'd have to come in my school uniform. She would then handcuff me in front of me. But she'd cuff my wrists under the uniform sweater, so I could hide the cuffs with the sleeves of the sweater. Then I'd just be like that until 9:00 PM. I'd still be able to eat, go to the bathroom,and everything like that. We'd probably just hang out at her house, or something like that Even if we did go out, the cuffs are hidden. The cuffs would also be double locked, so I won't accidentally tighten them. In the end, I keep the $50. But if I decide to quit, I lose the $50 and have to pay $25.

So should I do it?

As one would expect, the history is partially true, and partially skewed to make the authors' people appear more important. Other parts are entirely made up. Other than a few general rules, tribal laws, and tribal mythology, there really isn't much to it. What makes it so popular? It would seem that a text with so much unjust violence, obvious impossibilities, and lead characters who happen to be criminals would have fallen out of favor quickly. What has kept it around this long?

To make a long story short: while I was driving on a main road there was a car up my a$$. I turned down my block and he was still close. I decided not to go home and go the next block..Before you know it we were doing 70 down side roads and just barely stopping at any stop signs. At one point there was a car coming and I had to stop. He pulled up on the side of me and was reaching under his seat. (got a good look at him) He tried to cut in front of me, but, I got away...Next day I saw his photo in the paper. In reading the article it said how he had escaped from jail and had guns under the drivers side seat. He had the same type car that was following me. They caught him because he rammed his car into a womans and ran after her trying to capture her after she ran out of her car. She began knocking on doors and screaming. He got scared off and left..The police caught him after another 3 attemps..By the way, they say if this ever happens NEVER get out of your car. Go in reverse
