Why are Atheists so angry?

Question

I asked a question earlier and the atheists were name calling and assuming everyones mental except them, why the anger and abuse?

I have a theory. Lets say a believer has something bad happen to him, like his wife cheating with his better looking brother. This turns the beliver to an atheist because them being less better looking was not in their hands. only God. This turns into a rebellion.

In my previous question I explained that God gives health,food, sight etc. Then someone responds that their relative has cancer and died. Firstly Moses, Noah etc died, what gives you the thought your relatives are so special to others? Everyone dies everyone gets sick. To be living a happy lifetime forever in this life is the true fairytale of atheists, much more than the way atheists mock God/Heaven/etc.

I never said I was Christian.

With all these joke from atheists I am beginning to think you are all clowns. Lol.

Yeah your right, God should give all the money to the poor. Why stop at their? God should give world peace, God should let us live forever(!)

God can give wealth/staus etc to whom ever he pleases, just because he gives someone more wealth does not make u a better person, look at Pharaoh, Hitler, etc.

Yes, rich should give to the poor, God gives a chance to reap the good deeds so he can reward us more. (Feeding the poor)

Because I feel oppressed as an atheist living in a bible belt state. I really get annoyed after the 10000000000 time being told I am going to hell. I have to deal with the fact that the people around me are so dense they don't even know what a scientific theory is.

thats why I am pissed because so many people are choosing to be stupid instead of getting a freaking education.

The fact that you gave the best answer to the angriest post indicates that you chose it merely to set up this question. Given this question is asked several times a day, it follows that you are a provocateur who has little interest in the content of replies. Your "question" was a set-up for a soapbox, your best answer selection was a set-up for another soap-box. In short, you are violating the Community Guidelines and pretending that the anger is a function of atheism. The anger is a response to your lack of character.

I have no want to live forever and I've came to terms with the fact I won't long ago.

I don't believe because I don't believe there's a higher being. It's not because of a painful event in which I rejected God. The belief just isn't there.

If an atheist asks a question about Christianity, many Christians will react the same way; with anger. Religion has nothing to do with it.

I don't know that I am angry about anything.
Perhaps disappointed that I wasted so many years of my life on a non-existent entity.
I don't hate your god, I simply just don't believe such a creature exists.
If he does, could you get him to heal some amputees. They seem to be the only group that isn't receiving any of the godly healing power.

Atheists don't get angry because we're ugly cuckolds, or because we get sick and die.

If anything we get angry because you can't see that your faith in some supernatural skydude doesn't keep you from being an ugly cuckold, or from getting sick and dying.

All we have is each other, so why do you religious types insist on making things worse for everyone by denying yourselves (and others) pleasure in order to appease this skydude, giving money to fat, greedy charlatans who diddle your kids and claim they get special messages from the skydude, and then insist that the skydude's book gets taught as fact in our kid's schools?

I was angry yesterday because I couldn't access Yahoo. Now I'm much happier.

And about the dead relatives, why wouldn't those people be special to God, if not to strangers on Earth?

Of course everyone dies, but wouldn't it behoove a benevolent God to spare his precious sheep to undue pain and suffering?

Yay, more stupid and unfounded stereotypes! Not only does IQ have a negative correlation to religion, religious people have a higher homicide, divorce and general jailing rate than atheists, rendering your argument useless.

I am atheist. I am not angry today. Yesterday I was though. The traffic getting to work was just horrendous.
