islam is always say that their Quran is really the true God's words/messages, because Quran not revised, unlike the BIBLE so many revissioned.

All who think that Muslims are terrorists are wrong about thinking that Muslims hate nonmuslims. The Taliban are making Muslims look bad wich is making people hate them. It's all Ben Laden and the Taliban's fault for making some people hate Muslims. It does not say in the Quran that you are supposed to kill. Some very bad potitics are making it up.

I use God (R-Heaven) to indicate that Abrahmic god which some people (of a political persuasion) like to think favors a certain political party or its candidates.

As an atheist I find it sadly humorous to make up a fictional higher power and then say he agrees with your personal politics. Believing in a god is one thing (and is a matter of personal choice). But trying to bring that god into the realm of human politics is rather crass and merits ridicule, IMO.

If you need a invisible agent to justify your politics, perhaps they aren't otherwise defensible.

In 300 questions maybe 5 of them are about spirituality.I don't mind if there are questions about religions but please make it a serious one...I like answering questions about Christianity but this is too much already....that's all :)

When something bad happens in our lives, we say that it was because of some divine force interveining. Example: someone doesn't get a promotion at work, "It wasn't in the cards for me right now." or "God didn't want that to happen".

Something great happens in life and it's a result of your own hard work and determination. Example, someone DOES get a promotion at work. "I worked hard for this!".

I know not ALL people are like that but the few that are just make everyone look so incredibly hypocritical! I blame myself for everything that happens in my life.

It seems that in American this term relates to skin color. As a white man from South Africa I am more African than most black Americans. Should I refer to myself as African American or would this offend black Americans? Can you help me resolve this paradoxical situation?

I am christian myself, but I know why I am christian and I do believe in evolution and some other scientific theories. (this does not make me any less christian)

I have always noticed that so many christians can't defend their beliefs at all. They will say that evolution does not exist, dinosaurs never existed ect. It seems like by explaining themselves they are digging a bigger hole and just make others look bad.
So many people make generalizations about religious people based on what they hear, isnt it important to be able to explain yourself?

This is just a quick question, so if you want to be mad go ahead, it won't make me mad because you can't hurt me. But i would prefer civility as i am trying to be civil to you.

I as a Christian enjoy looking at every worldview i can get my hands on; i study them and eat them up! :) Like Francis Schaeffer i am coming to realization that there are only "a few men left in the room," and most worldviews can be fit into one of two "big worldviews." I have been thinking recently about the ever-famous "meaning/purpose" of life, and i have been trying to puzzle out what atheists think of it. As far as i can tell, there can be no all-consuming purpose for life or existence, as there is in Christianity, but only a miriad of choices that atheists pick and choose from. Among them are these:

-biological continuity
-personal happiness
-impact on humanity

Is there anything i am missing? What do you think is the meaning/purpose of life, personally? I would appreciate your input. :)

Why god put so many pain in earth . and Why someone is happy and other is miserable . And happy peaple dont care the miserable peaple . So all of you American still belive god? Why god don't make a fair earth .Why there is the earth of dog eat dog in so large Univers.
