Are you talking about the stupid ones like: "How many days did it take god to create the world and everything?" ...where people say six but his days are longer than ours because he's an infinite god and has no need for time.

..or the not so stupid ones that ask: "If he created the world as it is written, but his days were much longer than our idea of a day, how did the trees survive since they had to do without water perhaps for ages.?"

What stupid questions, where ?

Do you know what satire is ?

If you don't then you should learn, and fast.

The absurd questions are there to show the absurdity of the beliefs held by some people, if you can't see that, then you need to graduate from high school (again if need be).

Larry Flynt not only had the Supreme Court prove that Jerry Falwell was an ***, but also that Satire is part of free speech.

The Yahoo servers are located on US Soil and therefore bound by US laws. So I have the same right to free speech as you do in a text located on a US server.

I had the same type of question the other day. I guess we just have to deal with the silly questions. Like one said it just gives us more points for our level. Well I myself could care less about the level. I come only because some atheist have actually been converted so it keeps me coming back. I often wonder though if those young in the faith have been backsliding due to some questions and answers in R&S as well. Peace out.......

except Christianity is the only faith on the earth - then the respond is not any! technology books have been compiled over centuries of painstaking test to instruct the theories it consists of. The Bible became written 2000 years in the past by utilising stone age adult males attempting to respond to unanswerable questions. My math e book does no longer say that 2+2=4 "using fact God says so" - its been shown. no longer something in the Bible has been..... and can't a Christian make a stable arguement without rhetoric??

This is not the Religion and Spirituality section, you must have read it wrong. This is the section for "Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else." STUPID questions are our delicacy.

I agree that some days sensible questions are a bit hard to find.

Ironically, this question also does not address religious or spiritual topics. Hmmm...
