He doesn't exist. Many people know that, so stop confusing yourself with religion because it's all and illusion to answer questions of how earth and the universe was made.

Pain and misery are relative. People who believe in God do not believe that the earth is the only thing going. Thus, if someone suffers in this world, they will be rewarded in the next. Ultimately, THAT makes the world fair to someone who believes in God.

In any case, you are mistaking about something pretty important. God didn't make the world bad. WE did. Mankind wants free will. Think about it. You KNOW you want to be in control of your life and to be able to make your own decisions. No one wants to be a robot. But having free will means having the ability to choose between good and evil. Free will is a gift, and man, not God, has chosen to use that free will to be selfish and greedy. That selfishness and greed is the cause of all the misery in the world. So if the earth is a "big wrong," as you so eloquently put it, then it is our own fault. Blaming God is pretty lame, regardless of whether or not he exists.

If God does exist, though, then he has given us the potential to rise about this and to make the world a paradise. That is a really nice gift. Instead of sitting here and whining about things, why don't you get up and do something to make the world better? You can start by keeping youtr stereotypes and and blame-games to yourself.

Some say "Free Will" is the answer.

Without pain, suffering, turmoil in life there is no need for God. I'm not saying that God has purposely placed hurt in our lives as a means of getting attention. Rather, I'm saying that we remember God most when these bad things happen in our lives.

I don't believe in predestination, so I think that God created the earth and everything in it and is there to guide us but in the end...what happens here on earth is up to us.

Friend.

God is impartial and is the embodiment of Love and Compassion. His GRACE always will be showering on all equally.
The good and bad things in one's life are happening PURELY BECAUSE OF THE PERSONS OWN ACTS.You need not bring into this God.You are the creator of your miseries and you are the creator of your happiness.

Read the scriptures. It has been. clearly ,logically, scientifically , in detail explained about these things.
The Best book I can refer is Yoga Vaashishtam by Sage Valmiki who also wrote Ramayan. It answers all your questions. But it is not easy to understand that great book with 32000 versus. So read a commentary first and a Bhasyam which gives meanings of verses.Other wise listen to Audio cassettes available in Mp3 format .You will get all your doubts smashed.

So God is NEVER THE REASON FOR OUR SITUATION EITHER GOOD OR BAD.

It is we who make them all with our acts and throw the blame on fate.

first, god have given everything to everybody. Lets assume you got a job okay. If you work hard, you will go to the higher level. If not, you will be in the same position. if suppose you are in the same position, have you realised why? instead you blame god , thinking you worked hard but yet you didn;t get anything. It is general human mind. Instead if you think and act, you will go to higher position. In this how can you blame god? That is why you see different that some are in good and some suffer. suffering is oneway to know the truth. So it is a chance for them to find and rectify their mistakes.

There is evil in the world because Adam and Eve disobeyed God and took fruit from the Forbidden Tree in the Garden of Eden, and thus sin came into the world. Humanity brought troubles on themselves.

Even if we think it is a mistaken universe, we should be thankful to God for it, otherwise we would not exist.
Mostly people suffer because they choose the wrong way of life then the sufferings come as consequence. In other cases, I agree that people suffer who did not do anything wrong. In this case I believe that God has a plan for all of us and they will have better lives in the other life. I can't be 100% sure in what I am saying, but my belief to God allows me to confide in Him completely and trust his decisions. What refers to wars where thousands are dying, it is not God's falt, people are doing it.

That's a horrible thing to say. The thing people don't realize is that Satan exists and he is real just as much as GOD is. He's the reason for all the pain and agony. You have to love God enough and have faith. Everything is a test and you're failing miserably. GOD bless you!

Just wanted to point out that not all Americans believe in god.

Most do, but not all.

Also, you aren't the first to come up with "The Argument from evil" -- which is what you've written is called.

People bring pain and suffering to themselves not god. A lot of times when people make choices they are unaware of how it affects others.
