This is one of the reasons why I don't think the 'power corrupts' idea is really very accurate. An omnipotent God has no REASON to be corrupt. The only beings that turn corrupt are the ones that have something to gain by it, and presumably God would already have everything he wanted anyway.

In the area of politics, where the 'power corrupts' idea is most widely applied, I think the causality is simply mixed up. That is to say, corruption gains power. Honest politicians don't get anywhere because they put an additional restraint on themselves that corrupt politicians don't have to deal with.

Corruptable power was invented by man - not God. Power in the hands of imperfection can surely lead to corruption - yes.

Satan is one thing such as man. Yet they have know power unless it is given to them from above. To do good or evil.

The saying to which you are alluding assumes the inclusion of sinful humans only. God is perfect and sinless and cannot be corrupted.

It is the abuse of power that corrupts not power. Power in the wrong hands creates chaos, confusion, and death.

So, God is corrupt, and....
Satan is a boyscout!...........

I`m very sad for you.
Please be prepared to be with satan eternally.
Do you want that?

I do hope you still have chances to ally with God...before it will be too late for your repentance.

Good Luck !!! and God Bless!!!

God isn't corruptible like man is. On the contrary, He is omnibenevolent (wants what is best for us) and omniscient (knows everything).

Looks logical on the surface, but isn't.

Corruption in an imperfection. People are imperfect, but God isn't (by definition) and so can't be corrupted.
