Me and my guy friend (which is gay) are starting high school in about a month. He is nervous about going to high school because he thinks that people will be cruel to him since he is gay. I don't know what to tell him.

They don't try to help me & they don't give me advice. Instead, they point the finger @ me & judge me & look for ANY minute reason to find me at fault for my problems. If they can't find fault, they always say what I "probably" did wrong.

Father K, who was a regular called Susan J a psycho and a few other very bad names, he is a Priest, a man of God and he is judging when Jesus says not to judge, He reckons she is worse than a satanist for faking her own death which she did not, she tried to explain what happened but he turned his back on her!

How can he call himself a Priest and do this to someone who is a victim and not the person who made the false accusations?

Does this say anything new to you?

Islam is a religion of peace, love and tolerance. Today, however, some circles have been presenting a false image of Islam, as if there were conflict between Islam and the adherents of the two other monotheistic religions. Yet Islam's view of Jews and Christians, who are named "the People of the Book" in the Koran, is very friendly and tolerant.

This attitude towards the People of the Book developed during the years of the birth of Islam. At that time, Muslims were a minority, struggling to protect their faith and suffering oppression and torture from the pagans of the city of Mecca. Due to this persecution, some Muslims decided to flee Mecca and shelter in a safe country with a just ruler. The Prophet Muhammad told them to take refuge with King Negus, the Christian king of Ethiopia. The Muslims who followed this advice found a very fair administration that embraced them with love and respect when they went to Ethiopia.

We've all experienced it: those times when the teacher says something completely stupid and you either get mad and want to freak out at them or practically die trying not to laugh at what they said. What's your most memorable instance of this happening? Mine is the time back in 8th grade when we (the girls) asked the teacher why the boys got locks on their bathroom doors, but we didn't. Her response? "You'll lock yourself in the stall and not know how to get out." This was in 8th grade, folks! Has anyone else ever had a time like this where a teacher said something extremely funny/anger-inducing to them? (If you're a teacher, I'd love to hear about times where you said something and then looked back and thought "What was I thinking?")

I didn't say he didn't believe in something...I guess I just wasn't aware or clear about this topic...He is a recovering alcoholic, and when they pray at the end of the meeting he walks out. He gets angry when other talk about God, and it made me curious, sorry if I offended anyone...wasn't what I was trying to do. Just want to hear other talk about it. Sharing experience, strength and hope...that's all.

Karma (loosely) states that if you do things you think are evil, then in the next life you will return as someone or something that has a worse circumstance than you do now.

Alternatively, if you do things that are perceived as good then you have a chance at coming back as something or someone with a better life than you have now.

Forget what you WANT to come back as...you know if you've been good or bad...what do you THINK you DESERVE to come back as?
