I am a native Californian but I currently live in Maine, and I'm talking to a guy online who's a native Mainer, and I was going to say something to him about Santa Cruz, but do people who have never been to Calif. even know what it is?

The gawd-awful truth is that most of us normal Americans don't care about Santa Cruz! (that's "Holy Cross" for all you English speaking fellow Americans)

Now that you've left La-La Land, I hope you enjoy the opportunity to get to know normal, honest, down-home people.

I've been to California several times, but even before that I've heard of Santa Cruz as a place in CA. Don't know that much more about it than that, and still don't.
