Like I said, there is a disturbing trend going around by
false prophets, and secular progressives, trying to thwart
the name of Jesus. And religion at large. Now in the US,
a private organization, is promoting this. Yaweh is the
name, not Jesus. Of course that is not right. And on top
of that, they think that the name Jesus is anti Christ.
And we as Christians are serving an idol god. What is your
opinion on this matter ? Check out my last question in the
other section. And read thoroughly please. Let me know
what you think. Best answer wins.

In the book of Genesis Adam and Eve in their speech were clearly fluent. They were also advanced enough for God to give them dominion over the Earth and even names the species, and so forth.

PROBLEM: It is a fact that earlier man existed that did not have this capability. He had advancmements human, uprightness, painting and drawing (but not writing language), tool making, and other things that would separate him from apes.

Following the Bible we could dismiss say Peking Man and Java Man as for the sake of argument not being actually human--so Adam's and Eve's creation would not necessarily conflict with this. The problem is Modern Man, homo sapiens sapiens and Neanderthal men. They clearly did exist. Neanderthal died out. But we have come from homo sapiens sapiens which did survive, but did not initially have the ability that Adam and Eve had in speech, intelligence, and so forth.

How does a Christian resolve this dilemma? All replies greatly appreciated.

For some reason I find scientific research far better equipped to answer my questions about life than the Bible.

Is something wrong with my brain?

While there are many religion in this world there is only one God, While each religion chooses to call God by a different name and worship him in different ways there still is only one God, The God that I know and have a relationship with knows no hate, bigotry or evilness. He only knows love, compassion, tolerance and kindness. I believe that God created all of us and we are all his genetic heirs. By believing this I open myself to all religions and beliefs for not any of them are perfect only God is. While we can learn from religion are we learning the lessons that were intended. Every religion except Athesists that I am aware of believe that God created us (humans). So if we believe that he created us who are we to persucute anyone? Who are we to judge anyone else for their beliefs, sexuality or moral beings? Are we that egotistical in our own beliefs that we are without fault? When I hear a religion quoting from the bible my first question is which version.

What is the difference between Buddhism and Atheism?
I asked a previous question regarding Buddhism, sin, God, and heaven (or nirvana) and the overwelming response was that Buddhist do not believe in sin, or God, or heaven so..........?
Buddhist are atheist who for some reason want to be spiritual? (whatever that is in this context)
Is this really a fair assesment.
This really is a serious question on my part so insightful answers mingled with the obligatory humor would be appreciated.

I have a perhaps riddling questions:

If God created man in his image and Eve was created from the rib of Adam (according to Genesis in The Bible).

Then how were people brought to the earth, was it strictly from Adam and Eve? How many kids did they have?

If that be the case, wouldn't everyone today be somewhat related? (Anyone who could pass me bible quotes from NJS would be appreciated)

My husband asked me this question a couple days ago and its been sticking in my head since then. I don't have a solid answer for this.

Please my only request is people who are into religion seriously answer this question. Philosophers, Religious people, Priests, Reverends, Pastors, Youth Leaders and Church Goers aka Bible Thumpers if you will. etc

and thanks

3 A form of chess was played in ancient India but the game was developed into the form we know it today in Persia. From there it spread westward to Europe - where it was introduced by the Moors in Spain in the 10th century - and eastward as far as Japan. The word rook comes from the Persian rukh, which means chariot.

4 A thousand years before the Wright brothers a Muslim poet, astronomer, musician and engineer named Abbas ibn Firnas made several attempts to construct a flying machine. In 852 he jumped from the minaret of the Grand Mosque in Cordoba using a loose cloak stiffened with wooden struts. He hoped to glide like a bird. He didn't. But the cloak slowed his fall, creating what is thought to be the first parachute, and leaving him with only minor injuries. In 875, aged 70, having perfected a machine of silk and eagles' feathers he tried again, jumping from a mountain. He flew to a significant height and stayed aloft for ten minutes but crashed on landing - concluding, correctly

I heard getting your name removed from the records is such a pain (have to write a letter, confirm with the bishop, etc.) that most apostates never bother.

So apostates or simply passively disinterested people remain on the church records and makes LDS church membership look much bigger than it is.

Praises B 2 he who teaches through pain,
Scars, and hurt till only a cynic remains –
Take it only with you, that's it, no more,
Watch and trust as the world runs up the score
Till I don't remember what the lesson
Even was, just know it's for the best and
Chalk it up to love, the love you're made of
Whether I can see it or not, the love
That made you give what I can't even see,
Life abundantly that's all around me,
Supposedly. Do you want me to learn?
How about a lesson on how to earn
A million or two? Easier for you
To break than to make, after you got through
The first 6 days. Look at me now, with so
Much nothing I can't count it all, and know
You gave it all to me. I'd give it back,
My ungrateful self, my life – I've lost track
Of U and it seems U wanted me 2,
An excuse to hurt me right back to you,
A game of chicken I know I can't win,
Because to win would be the worst of sins.
So I lose, I choose to lose, take the pain –
Praises B 2 He who hurts me again.

The Nephilim are fallen angels spoken of in the OT and you can read about them in Genesis 6: 1-5. There are other places as well where they are mentioned in the Bible.

I was trying to reconcile in my mind, why the Nephilim were able to impregnate women on earth (as it's stated) with what Jesus has to say about our ethereal forms in heaven, which are suppose to be neither male nor female as the angels are.

I want to see how the day crowd feels about the Nephilim.

Here are a few links about them.

I know a lot of you christian bible-believers are expecting a big show-down at the end times where the armies of god battle the armies of the devil and you already know god is going to come out on top, but I could never figure out why there has to be a battle in the first place.

Isn't the christian god supposed to be all-powerful and able to do anything at all? Couldn't it just make it's opposition disappear into nothingness at any point in time, including the past and present before a war even starts? Couldn't it change it's opposition into cute little puppies that simply sniff eachother? Aren't there endless possiblilities that could prevent such a war?

So what would be the point of having one? Is it a show of power? Couldn't that be done with any of the aforementioned methods? Is it for entertainment? Wouldn't watching 300 in HD be suffice for a bloody battle? How do you justify it lasting more than a millisecond, if even at all? In other words, what's the point?
