The history is known for its continous battles from day one they landed and started to battle the Indians that where here long before anyone founded crap!

War is the history to date and still going on.. the biggest amount of information in American History Archieves is to do with war... not all war was their fault that is not what I am saying.. but what I am saying the answer to your question.. that is their best known attribute to date..SUPER POWER ONLY BECAUSE OF POWER!

Probably for declaring its own independence from an empire (Britain), winning the fight to be liberated, and then setting up our own government and being a successful country for the last 330+ years.
