Like I said, there is a disturbing trend going around by
false prophets, and secular progressives, trying to thwart
the name of Jesus. And religion at large. Now in the US,
a private organization, is promoting this. Yaweh is the
name, not Jesus. Of course that is not right. And on top
of that, they think that the name Jesus is anti Christ.
And we as Christians are serving an idol god. What is your
opinion on this matter ? Check out my last question in the
other section. And read thoroughly please. Let me know
what you think. Best answer wins.

According to Isaiah 9:6, Jesus IS God. According to about 500 others versus as well, from Genesis all the way to Revelation.

It is a misrepresentation by Charles Taze Russell that Yahweh is the correct name of God (not so) and that Jesus is not a part of God but just a good man. This is totally anti-Biblical.

Yahweh is actually a transliteration of ONE of the MANY names of God, a transliteration because the actual name of God is made up of three Hebrew letters, two of which make no sound whatsoever, thereby preventing man from uttering the name of God, thereby saving us from getting SMOKED by God because we are not holy enough to even say His name.

Yeshua is the Hebrew name of Jesus. Jesus is Greek name for Yeshua.

Funny how these guys like CT Russell DON'T believe in the Bible, but then turn around and use the very Bible they DON'T believe in to create a religion around it. (Oh, an ANGEL told me that the Bible was mistranslated, and an ANGEL told me how to translate it correctly. Isn't that the same story that Joseph Smith told? And Mary Baker Eddie? And Mohammed? And a few others?? Why aren't all those "new translations" the same???)

I was told what some of the other people on here have already said. "Yashua is the Hebrew name for Jesus .Yshua is Hebrew for the the English word Joshua" So technically we should be calling Jesus, Joshua. AND I was also told that the name Jesus is taken from the Greek god Zeus, which means 666 in the Roman Alphabet. So those that worship Jesus are actually worshiping the Devil. That's what I was told. But I'm not saying I BELIEVE that! Just letting you know what other people tell me. Personally I don't think it matters what you call someone, it's who you feel like you are speaking to, and I know when I pray I am not speaking to the Devil!

Jesus and Yahweh are the same person-make no mistake.
it's sort of like 'what's in a name?'

Yahweh is the so-called 'unpronounceable' name of God, given in the Old Testament. It was believed by Jews (and still is-by some-to this day; some Jewish religious publications spell 'God' G_d), that it was sinful to pronounce the name of God. So, the name YHJH was used in early scriptures-it wasn't meant to be spoken aloud, and when called upon, a devout Jew would substitute 'Adonai' which means ;Lord' or 'sir'...a simple title of respect. The name 'Yahweh' was the attempt of Bible translators to give a name to the unpronounceable.

Jesus was actually a rather common name in Israel, in the first century. It actually means the same as Joshua. Mary and Joseph were both told by an angel, to name the baby Jesus so. So,even though the name was unremarkable at the time, it was hand-picked for him.

Movements such as you speak of have been around since the first century-since there was a generation that was young enough, and lived far enough away, not to have been directly influenced by Jesus and His apostles. Jesus warned about them-and said not to pay any attention to them. Just believe in him, do as he taught, and when he returns-you will KNOW. In fact, no one will have to be told.

I love Jesus, Yaweh, My Lord, The Triune God, What a Friend WE Have in Jesus, Yaweh, and any "nickname" we call him... I call the Holy Spirit Paraclete because when I looked it up it meant Best Friend, and that makes me feel secure. If you are serious, then I think Yaweh is like Hebrew, my daughter with a Biblical major or anyone who knows hebrew and the original stuff could explain this. Jesus is in your heart, not in a word :) And I love Him so so much , I'm 56 by the way and I've been in love with Him all that time :)

It is all a matter of the translation of the names. Original context did not contain "J" in it. "J" way originally a "Y" The name of God, being Yahveh. (The "W" was originally a "v") And the name Jesus, being translated from Yashua. They have two different names even though they are one. But it is not wrong to call them God or Jesus. And definitely not the anti-Christ. God is simply a more broad recognition of the one that we serve. Yahveh is simply His personal name. (But, do you want to call God by a nickname or His real name?)(Some pronounce it "Yahweh.") Either way God is God, He has many different names... You can call him by which ever name He is to you and he will answer. (ex: Jehovah Jirah, my provider, Jehovah Shalom, my prince of peace) either way... He is still God and Jesus/Yashua is still seated at His right hand.

Yahweh is the savior, God so loved that He gave... Jesus is an English name for the son of God. Believing in Jesus saves us from our sins because Jesus is the acceptable sacrifice to God. Keep this in mind that the son said this," all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth". Don't allow anyone to make one point and pull you from the true and living God. Here is the question: is thy heart right with God? Washed in the cleansing blood, cleansed and made holy, humble and lowly in the sight of God.

in the previous testomony, Yahweh is the Hebrew be conscious meaning God. Jesus, is the son of God. the daddy, The Son and The Holy Spirit make up the Trinity. Jesus isn't anti Christ! He became despatched from Heaven to be the suitable sacrifice, and by him, we are in a position to choose directly to our Heavenly Father. don't be misled via persons who want to get rid of the call of Jesus. examine the Holy Bible, King James version, and pray that the Lord will open your eyes once you examine. study the recent testomony scriptures, and you will see that as in John financial disaster a million, that "in the start became the be conscious, and the be conscious became with God, and the be conscious became God." Jesus became despatched for each physique, no count number what race or beginning. Be proud to declare the call JESUS!
