How long would it take before chaos or anarchy took over?

Shops without food (if you can get to the shops), no running water, no power supplies....

except my "I am very sorry" I have never been a very good speller and I dont like it when people put others down for it. Just because we cant spell all that great does not give anybody the right to say we are stupid or not smart, some of us just have a few learning disabilities, but we at least do try. But I am sorry if I hurt any bodys feelings.

who call medums demons. Could it be because they themselves are in a cult, and are told what to believe. And not allowed to think for themselves.

Try to answer this WITHOUT sinning, which means no judging Hitler.

And don't forget, Hate the Sin not the Sinner.

I Lover Hitler, a Christian should love all his brothers and sisters and hate none of them.

I used to think I could make a difference in the world, maybe clarify some misconceptions, share my thoughts... Now I see how hateful and mean people here can be and I am sad to think that this site in any way represents the society we live in.

....without Sesame Street? I mean, we learned to count, had a daily morality/friendship tale, and were encouraged to appreciate diversity. Not everyone lived in a suburban paradise: we learned to deal with the tough questions with discretion and sympathy for our fellow man. Who things SS bought us another few decades?

.. by bringing about better lives and futures for all. If not all people are enjoying/ reaping the fruits of intelligence then why should the definition be universal? And then, if supposed intelligence is creating too many negative side effects in the lives of most people (at least indirectly), then the meaning of the word must be redefined. So, in this day and age, what does one mean when one speaks of intelligence and sets apart oneself as intelligent as opposed to another? And doesn't it take intelligence to survive in any given enviroment?

What happened? and how? I'm only asking this because this happened to me-it was very unexpected. *I was in love with my acquintance's, (who was once my friend) brother. He is 23 & I'm 20. This incident happened a year ago. As I was leaving the retail store I onced worked for I looked to my left, low &b ehold he was walking right past me the opposite way. We imiditaely locked eyes, but then quickly looked away-never saying a word to each other. The day before this incident I spoke to a customer who after talking to -just causally- tells me that he is really good friends with this guy. I had no clue they knew each other. I never told him I like him though-just kept it professional. He did tell me he was suppose to be flying into town the next day, he was returning from college. Well the next day is when I saw him at the mall, by where I work. I don't know if the guy I chatted with at the store had something to do with it-but it was freaky, and it was surreal-I had't seen him in 3 yrs.

Actually the most powerful imaginary being is "No God." He has found a constant place in the mind of a significant portion of the population.

When his believers are asked to prove he exists they say you can not logically prove the existence of "No God." Since they can not logically prove his existence, I guess they believe in "No God" by faith. What do they call this crazy religion!!!

What we in the west call "morality" unfortunately comes from the religion of Christianty. What we call "right and wrong" is essentially measured against Mosaic law and Jesus pacifism (beatitudes) whether we realize it or not.

Why is this a problem? Well, we believe that "turning the other cheek" and "loving the enemy" is the highest standard. It matters not whether people follow this at all! This is viewed as the standard and thus defines a ceiling and floor of conduct.

Heres what I mean. If you believe "turning the other cheek" is the highest virtue, then even though you may not turn it competely, you wont endorse its opposite, even when it means the survival of your family!

In other words, we have a ceiling and floor to self-preserving behavior that is a thosand times more narrow than the Islamists who wish to wipe us off the map. We call it being "civilized". So did the europeans wiped out by the Barbarian Invasions.
