I think I know the answer to the question but I wanted to get a response from a Muslim. I am not looking for a debate but I do admit that this is a challenge that I ask Muslims to answer.

Wherever Islam is in the majority it is a crime for other religions to be equal.

Christians and Jews may live within a Muslim nation but only a Dhimmi ( subordinate) and they must pay extra taxes.

Also of note the Qur'an does NOT permit a Muslim to convert to another religion. Those who do are to attacked according to the Qur'an.

Any Muslim nation that is pluralistic is so because they ignore some Islamic teachings.

There are NO Muslim nations that are democracy and have Sharia.

Turkey has democracy but its constitution demands secularism in the government.

Well, it is inconvenient to have organized democracies who are Muslim. It is easier to control them through kings and dictators. Have you noticed that every Muslim country which has a dictator or a king is a friend of the West, and every country that has had elections has elected Muslim religious rulers. Muslims are a fairly dedicated group of people whose loyalty is to their faith.

That is why the Western powers destroyed the Algerian election as well as the elections in Palestine. Even Turkey has elected a Muslim government, so they are not being allowed to enter the EU. You must know what happened to Iran when the king of Iran was replaced with a Muslim democracy?

It is inconvenient for the powers that be to have democratic states which are Muslim, as very quickly the Muslim countries will form one large democratic super power. So, the Muslims are kept divided and fighting by having dictators, kings and other pawns who can be controlled by scaring them with their own populations so they behave.

I hope this makes sense.

Just because you disagree with a government does not mean they don't have democracy.
Palestine has a democratically elected government.
Lebanon has a democratically elected government.
Iran's government was democratically elected.
Others I am not sure of...But
Back in the 50's and 60's there were two flourishing democracies in the Arab world. but president Eisenhower decided that the ruler in one was not in our best interest, so he supported his over throw and put in a puppet.
that puppet was a cruel dictator who killed most of his enemies, leaving only religious extremists to oppose him. these extremists overthrew the dictator and removed our controls.
Our government then went to the SECOND country and help the opposition overthrow the government there,so they would attack the first.

those two countries? I'm sure you know that they are Iran and Iraq. Our government (both Repub and Dems)is directly responsible for the spread of religious extremism both in the region and throughout the globe.

1) Because Islam is ruled by Qur'an, Shari'a and the Hadiths which control EVERY aspect of a Muslim's awake life and consciousness - it even has solutions to nightmares which are Satan inspired; one should spit over the left shoulder to counteract their influences - slightly more insane and superstitious than Xianity.
2) The 14th century inspired reformation inspired freedom of thought and slowly Individual Freedom was rested from the church. Without the reformation the west would have continued to be as enslaved as Islam is now.

Muslims are used to being slaves, because Islam is an oppressive religion that does not by its nature engender a sense of freedom.
It is rule by force, not by choice.

I am a Christian, but it takes a democracy to allow freedom of religion.

Actually, a lot of it has to do with Americans stealing everything from their countries.

And don't try that crap. Christians have done all sorts of wars and genocides and had their fair share of tyrants. Christians are not any better than Muslims.

Both are tainted by the violence their religious leaders have created in the world.
