There's a flaw in your question. Yes, God could run but Bush can't. Two terms only.

I'd vote for Shaq (nobody can beat him.) Just kidding! I'd vote for GOD. He's cool. The devil is an average politician. He lies, cheats, and steals to get what he wants. He would run nothing but his mouth and expect us to praise him. GOD knows best and everything! The devil can only do what GOD allows him to do (read the book of Job.)

This is too easy...I have no choice but to vote for Jesus, and this is because the Devil has already run, and won twice, the second time by questionable and perhaps even nefarious means, and there is, as you know, a two term limit on the Presidency. Jesus has one Hell of a mess to clean up, after He is elected, that is.

Who I vote for would depend on what their stances on the issues are....

Since the question clearly states I have to place my religious beliefs aside the only deciding factor would be their stances on issues as everything anyone knows about either the devil or a deity is based on religion...

Since no stance on issues has been stated I would have to wait for those to decide..

This is a tough one, by voting god you would be electing someone known to like mass genocide, the story of noah, when he doesn't like something, he also wants to be lavished with attention and have all bow at his feet. This sounds like many politicale leaders around the world. At least with the devil you can have a good time, and ok so he may kill you but at least you had some fun for a while. That is opinion anyway as it is hypothetical and I don't believe in either!

Easy vote. I would vote for GOD anyday.

Take your pick.

1. A mansion with many rooms, and a street of pure gold or

2. A Lake of Fire in hell.

There is no comparing God with Satan. Satan's doings is tempory, and it fails. Gods never fails.
So who would want another failer?

I'm not sure. I would at least want to know their platforms and see them debate each other first. Anything they said I would take with a grain of salt and wish to have confirmed by a neutral third party ... hmmmmm ... now where ya gonna find one o' them? Blogosphere seems to be the most honest on the most consistent basis simply by discrediting the main stream media.

Satan. He, at least, I can trust to lie and decieve, and not do much else. He doesn't have a lot of power, he just knows the right words to whisper in people's ears to make them question their morals. But I can't trust anyone who claims to be a force of good, and then murders everyone on the planet with a flood...Or just anybody who has that much power (and likes to display it) in general. I know what package I'm asking for when I vote for Satan, but God is a mystery.

God of course. Satan has done a good job ruining this world as it is. Let's not give him more power. He would pass every horrible piece of legislature to come to him. Whereas God moves toward the common good. And God actually loves His people.
