What happened? and how? I'm only asking this because this happened to me-it was very unexpected. *I was in love with my acquintance's, (who was once my friend) brother. He is 23 & I'm 20. This incident happened a year ago. As I was leaving the retail store I onced worked for I looked to my left, low &b ehold he was walking right past me the opposite way. We imiditaely locked eyes, but then quickly looked away-never saying a word to each other. The day before this incident I spoke to a customer who after talking to -just causally- tells me that he is really good friends with this guy. I had no clue they knew each other. I never told him I like him though-just kept it professional. He did tell me he was suppose to be flying into town the next day, he was returning from college. Well the next day is when I saw him at the mall, by where I work. I don't know if the guy I chatted with at the store had something to do with it-but it was freaky, and it was surreal-I had't seen him in 3 yrs.

you smile. speak cordially. and be on your way. don't make it a big deal. the other person is usually as taken back as you are.

Hi..
Yes I did!
When I was 18 years old, I was going to college in the evening working at an insurance company in Manhattan..
To make a long story short I fell madly in love with a man that I worked with..One BIG problem! he was married..separarted, not legally..but still married!
He said he would divorce his wife for me..He also had 2 young children..
I told him NO! That I didn't want to start my life off like that.. But we really did love each other..
I met my husband to be soon after..I no longer saw my first love..
But 12 years later, one Saturday morning, while waiting for my children to finish religious instruction, I decided to kill some time in a local grocery store..
Have you ever felt when someone was starring at you..Well that's exactly how I felt at that moment..
I turned around, and there he was..We looked at each other..He mouthed my name, and I his..We just left our grocery carts with groceries in them and just hugged..I guess thinking back, it was something you would see in a movie..He was no longer in Insurance, but had his own radio show, and was leaving for San Francisco, for good! I wished him luck..
It's funny, he had gone back to his wife, and my husband and I were on the verge of a separation..Life is strange!
We were very happy to see each other..
Every year since that day for 18 years I had received a dozen red roses for my birthday..Unsigned..Then they suddenly stopped!
I don't know what happened, and I don't want to know..
Well..That's my story about who I bumped into..
Have a good evening all!

Actually, yeah. Last year, my junior year in high school, I was sitting in the library during lunch doing random work, and all of a sudden this Russian girl came and sat down at my little table and began talking to me.

We were in the same math class for a semester (my schedule got changed 2nd semester) freshman year, and we helped each other a little bit, and we were also in the same AP History class freshman year. We weren't friends, and we never had a conversation/spoke to each other at all, except for a "hi" here and there. In 10th grade, we said "hi" to each other *maybe* twice--max. Nothing more. I barely saw her that year. Then, all of a sudden, there she was. I had a slight crush on her in 9th and 10th, but I didn't pay much attention to it since we had never really spoken to each other/got to know each other, y'know? Then, within a few weeks of the library incident, I was driving her to and from school and getting her a job at my CVS. It was crazy! I was slowly cracking open her shell; breaking down her walls.

Never in a million years did I expect her to approach me like that. I was thrilled!

i assume she wasn't fascinated. It occurs + will take place to you back. in simple terms submit your chin, push aside your esteem + initiate over again with yet another female. no longer understanding what that "factor" became in her existence, its frustrating to respond to your question. yet for the way little i understand lol, i think of you have been somewhat basic along with her + some ppl in simple terms are not used to that, you little doubt bowled over her alongside with your assertion yet evaluate this, you took her via ask your self + she didnt assume to make certain you the two. God is destiny, now you have closure : ) For the record, you have been her style that lasted 2 wks. you recognize the kind, they have a style a week. lol.

the weirdest thing about meeting old aquaintences is the lack of attraction or commonness that used to be there......seemingly most of my old pals drift away and there is nothing in common any more...
