My assistant manager/step-sister always has an attitude. She claims that nothing is wrong and if anything I am annoying her by asking all of the time. We work in a retail store and when someone asks for help she always seems bothered or annoyed. This is obviously not good for business and it brings everyone down. Because she is family it is difficult to approach without leading to an argument. how do I tell her to shap up before I let her go?

I enjoy the show "the Ghosthunters." I believe they have found some compelling evidence, unless they are exceptional hoaxters.

There are enough scientific evidences that will readily prove to an understanding mind that the earth has existed billions of years ago. The presence of diamond on earth and other precious stones and metals like gold and silver proves the antiquity of the earth.......http://esoriano.wordpress.com/2007/05/22/refuting-a-nonsensical-allegation-on-the-scientifically-sensical-filled-scripture/

.. they are more than willing to tell us that we are defective? If the Protestant groups are upset that we point out that they don't have valid Apostolic Succession , why don't they go to Old Catholic bishops for Ordination, make public profession of belief in the Mass, the divine command for Holy Orders.etc.? Hmm? Why is it that they can constantly criticize us Catholics but we can't say why we don't recognize their "full church-hood"?

A friend emailed me this video of a large group Christian teens protesting their suspension for wearing shirts that bashed homosexuals. They were obviously into the bible. There is 1 f*cken phrase in a book that gets the whole world hating us.

I mean seriously what do you think about this

The Pope said if you're not Catholic then you're missing a big part of the faith, what do you think?
The Bible says you can pray to the Father. You don't need a priest to talk to God. Pray through Jesus. He is the Savior.

What is God's relation to us?
What are God's physical attributes?
What is God's nature, personality and temperament?

Please don't give vague fluffy answers like "He's everywhere and nowhere" or "He's big enough to fill the universe but small enough to dwell in your heart." Also, if you don't believe in God this question doesn't apply to you. Find one that does.

This is a man who claimed that his father was a god.

He performed 'miracles' : he was responsible for causing the river nile to flood year after year, over his entire time on earth he must have saved literally millions of people from starvation

He single handedly slew 20,000 enemy warriors and turned a rout into a great victory by his divine intervention.

This man was called ramesses, and we know about his exploits because his friends and followers wrote this remarkable storey down, and sent it all over the known world.

He was born circa 1303BC, and is referenced by many other historians and historical sources. His existence is historical fact.

Now that you know of this great man, who himself was revealed to be a god upon his death, you can worship him appropriately. Right?

:
"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it."

the same as believing in witches or the boogie man??? i don't see the difference..

both seem just as unrealistic as the other. what makes the boogie man more fictional.. if i told everyone to have complete faith that there were boogie men under peoples beds at night everyone could call me a douche.

but then i would say " i have complete faith in the boogie man, i know he is real. if you have complete faith and pretend REALLY HARD you will see how real he is"

isnt that the same as religious faith.

what about the same question but i thought big bird from sesamy street was god. whats the dufference?
