Better than I expected myself to be. I owe my thanks to placing Christ at the throne of my heart. GOD BLESS!

Interesting question. The best answer I can give is that I'm exactly where God would have me to be in that journey. I gave my life to him when I was nine and if his word is to be believed (and it is), everything that I've done has been part of his plan since that time!
Would I be farther along the path if I hadn't strayed from time to time? If I hadn't rebelled against his instructions? If I hadn't forgotten to ask for his input on various decisions throughout the years? Probably...but if God is all knowing all seeing, he already KNEW that I would rebel and stray and he used those very behaviors to bring me to where I am now and to mold me into the person he needs me to be to achieve his purpose.

I am here and doing my best to give it all up to God. It is not always easy as temptation will always be in our face and sometimes it even seems more so now that I am a Christian. Or I just notice it more now. One day closer to heaven is how I get through each day. (not that I want to die any time soon just not scared to anymore) It took me along time to realize that what God wanted was for me to be in a love relationship with him more then me following the commandments to a tee. Yes I need to try to do that also but I now realize it is much much more then that. Once I realized it was about faith more then works my path got a bit straighter.

Well I'm 56 years old and I have no guaratee I'll live one more day but I no where I'll be if I should die In my sleep. And death
holds no fear over me. I hope you are saved if not you still
may have time but just like me you could die at any time.
I use to go to a church where the Pastor John R.Gilpin
would end every sermon by saying "And always remember
don't wait for the hearse to bring you to church " sounds
like good advice to me.

About 100 miles from New York..
I'm a lost sheep, haven't stepped in a church for almost a decade...
Organised religions have so many flaws, including basic logic. I had to get out of there. There are only two things I still practice from the Bible: the Ten commandements and Jesus' life. All the rest is crap.

I am saved from the penalty of sin, death. I am being saved from the effects of sin as I rely on Jesus for His guidance and try to avoid sinful acts. One day very soon, I will be saved completely when I receive a new glorified body that will be sinless!

I am still hopeful of making it to the heavenly kitchen where I will have my waitress job waiting. Does this give you a clue?
I have a firm faith in Jesus but I struggle.
