How many people out there believe that ghosts are real? Have you ever seen one?

I enjoy the show "the Ghosthunters." I believe they have found some compelling evidence, unless they are exceptional hoaxters.

I can't believe how many times this question has been repeated over the last 6 days. Yes ghosts are real. Pick up a copy of "Haunted Places--The National Directory" by Dennis William Hauck. These are not anecdotal stories about someone who knows someone who may have seen a ghost. There is also an International Directory by the same author.

I very much do believe that spirits are real. Never seen one, but I can feel and hear them. The thing about those ghosthunter shows is that it's so difficult to show what you experience, so you never know. The best way to tell you have a spirit (if it's a quiet one, and most good, kind spirits aren't going to be noisy or bothersome unless they want your attention) is by the coldness. It's an icy cold spot. For example, I used to have three spirit cats in my house, two of whom loved to sit on my feet, so that my toes forever felt like I was standing in the snow barefoot that's how cold they were.

I believe from the depths of my soul in other worldly creatures. My family in Maryland and Virginia have seen many, many different ghosts and apparitions. The 3 yr old dreamed of a deceased man in an unknown house that "befriended" Emory. Later that week my aunt told us that Emory recognized and pointed out the house and tried to go in to find his ghostly friend. This may sound crazy ... but I think there is a ghost that is always with us whether we believe or not that stays with us like a guardian angel. There are ways to identify these beings in books that I have read. Hope this helps.

I have never seen a ghost as yet, but I have lived in 3 *haunted houses* including my current cottage in the bush..
I have a resident entity with me now, he is over in the corner where he spends a lot of his time...
These last few weeks he has started to play tricks on me again, he loves to hide little things from me, as in my keys, false teeth, and my mobile phone...
Sometimes when I am watching a DVD and have to leave the room, I pause the movie...
When I return I find the movie has been running since I shut the door....
No there is nothing wrong with the remote control, it only happens after I have shut the lounge room door....
I have many stories but they are so long and it is very taxing for me to type them out...

I believe that ghosts are real, and I have "sensed" them many times in my life. I enjoy the Ghosthunters because they can debunk a lot of things, but are still willing to admit when they encounter something that they can't debunk.

Never seen them but knew they were there.
I took a shower with one on the haunted ship, the Queen Mary. After my shower when the room was fogged up, I saw his huge naked footprint on the black toilet seat lid. I stood there in shock.
That is only one of my experiences.
Ghosts like to pull toes too when you are in bed. It happened to me when I was small.

I do security in a haunted artsy-fartsy theatre and there have been tons of unexplained incidents. I've been freaked out of my wits from time to time. Here's a link. It doesn't have my theatre in it though.

never seen them but i do think they're real. my mom says that for a long time after my great-grandpa died, she would see his shadow crossing the front window towards the front door around the time he would come home from work, but there wasn't anyone there.

I do, and I have seen one, once, although I have had more success having conversations with them, rather than perceiving them visually.
