What are your personal or religious beliefs regarding contraception. Do you think your religious or personal beliefs regarding this should apply to others.

If you favor birth control, do you think the gov't should require couples to limit the number of children they have, and require that abstinence, sterilization, or birth control be used to achieve this end ? Would you favor forced abortions to enforce this ?

If you are against using birth control, do you think the government should make it illegal ? If so, how would go about enforcing a ban on contraceptives ?

way?
Example: When I was a kid everyone told me I should just drop out of school, that I wouldnt amount to anything. I think anger and hatred towards these people compelled me to prove them wrong. I did drop out, but went back and then went on to get a college degree. When I graduated college I sent a few of these people a graduation invite...telling them thanks for the motivation.
So have you ever done this, and how does it play along with the notion that hate and anger are a sin? (if that applies to you)

A lot of Muslims will argue that the burka, or veil that Muslim women wear is to shield their beauty so as not to tempt men. Many of us non-Muslims will agree that this is a bit silly, covering a woman's face because a man is a pig. But we do that same thing in America. Women have to keep their breasts covered because it tempts men. I think us women should be free to go topless just like men are. Not every woman WOULD go topless or even want to. But I think it should be an option for us. Who agrees and who disagrees?

I'm an actor and I need to work on my British dialect, specifically Cockney. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as music and movies go that I should listen to? I know a lot of American actors are criticized for their "fake" accents so I'm trying to better mine with some authentic (or at least very well done) accents. Any ideas? Thanks!

If you belong to an organized religion, does your religion have anything to say one way or the other about cremation ?

If you do not belong to an organized religion, what are your personal beliefs about cremation ?

I 'd also like to hear the "why" of it, either way.

What I find strange is that many christians will do anything to "convert" people including catholics (who believe christ died for their sins), they will tell them that they are not "saved" and are in fact going to hell because they attend mass every week and devote themselves to Christ.

Yet they say that they do this out of Love and call any attempt to stop such activity persecution against Jesus.

It confuses me because when I speak to people like that they really have no understanding of Sytematic Theology, Church history etc.

The catholic chuch as been around 2000 years while the protestant movement has been around a few hundred.

What is wrong with devoting your life to Jesus despite the denomination. Since in effect, knowledge right or wrong doesnt affect salvation its about faith.
Further didnt Jesus say that the world would recognise the church because it is one, as far as I can tell the Catholic Church is the only one not fragmented into 9000 denominations globaly

Evolution is supported by overwhelming evidence, albeit with a few incomplete details.

Creationism has absolutely no scientific basis whatsoever to support it

Why are we supposed to give them equal footing in out schools?

I really don't get it! I love um, they're awesome. Anyways, let me rebound some of your usual answers right away:

1. They can't reproduce. So? A lot of straight couples never have kids...do you hate them too?

2. Bible. Now I'm not sure if the Bible says homoness is actually bad, or doesn't mention it at all. If it says it's bad...well, I read Inkheart, which claims faeries are real, do I believe that? No. Don't believe everything you read! If it doesn't mentioned it....that just means it isn't good or bad according to the bible.

3. Same genders kissing each other is gross. Get over it. They probably think your gross (Just kidding, gay people don't dislike straight people for no reason, like some straight people dislike gays..)

4. Lastly, there's nothing wrong with them. I agree. I like these people.

So if you have an answer such as 4 or an actual REAL reason I should THINK about disliking them, then tell me and I'll laugh.

Think for a moment how we got here without us making choices to what we should look like and where we're suppose to be borned. So isn't it obvious that our Destiny is already written as well? I'm not religious or anything but even in the Bible it says that before we were born our life was already set by God. Now how can you as a little human being in this gigantic Universe argue against what I just said? Am I right or Am I right?

That it is often quite easy to say that something is wrong when it doesn't personally affect your life?
For exampe; homosexuality, abortion, in vitro, stem cell research, interracial relationships and so on.
I have learned that through my life I have my own beliefs, but to keep my mind open to other peoples decisions because I have simply not walked in their shoes. I was not put here on earth to be the judge of what is good and what is evil. . .I believe I am here to show compassion and to love.. . .that the way I live my life is most important for me and for those around me.

Are temple garments essentially underwear, or do you wear underwear beneath such.

Also, I was told that the garments have a hook in the back of the neck...the idea is that some day that God will "scoop" up the believers with some kind of staff that the hook will connect to?

Is this really true or a bunch of baloney?

Any of you fundementalists ever see the film, "Saved"? It's like looking in a mirror, right?

Doesn't Christianity preach, "Love thy neighbor"? Shouldn't this include everyone, not just people who have the same rigid religious standards and beliefs as you?

If our minds are dictated by the chemical reactions going on inside our brains, then is it really anyone's "fault" if they break the law? Isn't doing so just abnormal behavior/psychosis that could be "corrected" through therapy and/or medication?

If we are nothing but chemical reactions, then why punish criminals? To do so is to deny an individual's "wiring". If we are something more, what is it and why are we the only species that has this consciousness?

This is admittedly a difficult Q, but let's think things through here a little and take each to their respective, ultimate ends.
