I really don't get it! I love um, they're awesome. Anyways, let me rebound some of your usual answers right away:

1. They can't reproduce. So? A lot of straight couples never have kids...do you hate them too?

2. Bible. Now I'm not sure if the Bible says homoness is actually bad, or doesn't mention it at all. If it says it's bad...well, I read Inkheart, which claims faeries are real, do I believe that? No. Don't believe everything you read! If it doesn't mentioned it....that just means it isn't good or bad according to the bible.

3. Same genders kissing each other is gross. Get over it. They probably think your gross (Just kidding, gay people don't dislike straight people for no reason, like some straight people dislike gays..)

4. Lastly, there's nothing wrong with them. I agree. I like these people.

So if you have an answer such as 4 or an actual REAL reason I should THINK about disliking them, then tell me and I'll laugh.

A LOT of straight people in the south goes with the 2nd option saying that it is immoral. People that use the immoral answer usually means it is against their own beliefs...so they can just get used to it or get over it.
I deal with these stupid comments from straights every day...I just dont care what they think anymore....God made me the way I am and God dont make trash!

haha you're pretty funny but to be fair, you're a little wrong on a few of them

it does say in the bible in a whopping 6 paragraphs between the old AND new testament regarding homosexuality (mind you, there are thousands of chapters, never mind paragraphs, in the bible....over 600 of them concerning the rules and regulations of heterosexual relationships...doesn't sound like god has too much of a problem w/ gays, does it?) the main reason why it's even in the bible, though is because many polytheists at the time (Romans and Greeks) had homosexual encounters. the best way to stay away from what the monotheists at the time believed to be "pagan" sin (homosexuality at the lowest concern of sins)..you have to understand, too that people of that time period used anything that seemed mysterious or inexplainable to be because of god. sorry to offend anybody, but the bible consists of many different stories and poems directed toward giving comfort, explaining a situation (before there were scientists like we have today) or just making up written laws, many stories weren't supposed to be as literal as they're interpreted. by reading the passages in the bible on homosexuality, anybody with a basic understanding of psychology can interpret it as a person confused, has never seen two men having sex and thought it was kinda gross, so they said it was against god's will...just as uninformed people in the past have said that black people were born sinful because of their skin. we know that's not the case, neither. but now i'm getting off topic

but i also just wanted to point out that although you were making some interesting points, there's one more thing i need to address...some straight people are homophobic, correct. but some gay people are also heterophobic. whether it's the reverse way of looking at it (oh yeah, you're heterophobic so you must be straight, like the retort gays use when encountering homophobia) or if they just loathe straight people for supressing them, like some people of minorities loathe white people, gay people can hate straight people just the same as straights can hate gays. we all have the capability of hating each other or people who are different. that's not the challenge in life. the challenge is loving people who are different from you and accepting them as an individual, not just looking at them for their differences.

Come on! They're a large group of people who are all ethnically, religiously, and socially diverse, and who don't have sex the same way as some other people. I mean, seriously - what's not to hate?

Imagine for a moment that you found out your friend liked to have sex in a different way than you like to have sex. She likes it on top. Ick. You’d have to stop being friends, right?

Same thing with gays. If you can’t understand that, then I’d have to say you’re an intelligent, enlightened person who can see beyond stereotypes and social labels, and that’s unfortunate because there’s no place in polite society for you or those gay people with the different sex than “normal” people have.

I hope the sarcasm wasn’t too “over the top”.

well, i don't know why people hate them...... could it be jealosy? are the straights sad 'cause they can't get any? ;)
heh.... sorry not to be much help.... all though i do have something to add...
the bible may mention that homosexuality is bad..... BUT the bible was written a LONG time ago, and has been translated alot since it was first released by the author. so, alot of mistakes have been made because of it take this for example....
"it is as hard for a rich man to get into heaven as a camel to pass through the eye of a needle" (i think that's it.)
the 'eye of a needle' was an entrance to a city (forget which one) only big enough for a camel or horse with no sadle bags to get through, helped with theifs, ya know?

i don't think there's anything wrong with having a little more love in the world. alot of people autimatically think "they're gay, they may hit on me!" but straight men are WAY more likely to hit on woman then guys on guys.

well, MORE POWER TO YOU! love the question bytheby, i honestly can't think of a reason either.

^.^ (if that's the case, then why is my answer so darned long, right?) heh, sorry to ramble.

oh, one more thing. (this is the last, i promise) i love your pic. teh cute!

No, I can't think of any reason for you to dislike anybody. But since we're on the topic, what's the big deal about gay marriage. How can anybody's individual marriage affect the sanctity of anyone else's marriage? Wouldn't the skyrocketing incidence of hetero divorce be more harmful to the sanctity of marriage? And when it gets down to it, what the h*ck is all this talk about sanctity anyway? What we really need to be asking ourselves is How does their love for each other hurt us? The answer: IT DOESN'T! So, you love girls and she loves girls; and I love boys and he loves boys . . .that's a lotta love going around and isn't that a whole lot better than hate?

You have already answered your own question. You dont want a real answer because you already said you only want a laugh.Re read your bible. Sodem & Gomorra where wiped of the face of the earth because of the Gays. God DOES love the gays but not their life style.God said for a MAN to leave his mother & father & cleave to a WOMEN .God made man so he could have sex with a women , not a man to a man or a women to a women.. That is why HE created A MANS & a WOMENS sex organs differantly.Yes some " STRAGHTS" do not have children but the could if they wanted except for medical reasons.Gay is not a sickness but a life style. I am speaking from experiance. My brother was gay until his death in 2003 at age 51.Liver failure from Herion from his partenernof 17 years. He made the choise to be gay & do drugs, just like straght people.

First off I would like to say that I don't hate gay people and I actually love them. I have had many awesome homosexual friends in the past and have appreciated how honest they are being with themselves. I just think people are afraid of something that is outside of the norm but is becoming ever apparent in our communities. And some cultures more than others consider it a deviance while some places embrace it.

However it does say somewhere in the bible (at least my father said so) that a man shall not lay with another man as if she is a woman (or something like that.)

Hate is different than disagreeing. When someone disagrees with the homosexual lifestyle people say that you're hating them. That is not true. And why ask this question when you're only going to accept one answer? basically i have to say that homosexuality is fine in order for you to approve of it. the Bible says that homosexuality is wrong. Now that doesn't mean u just start abusing them. I still treat them with respect.

"Hate"? That's an awful strong word. Are you using it just to fan the flames of hatred yourself?

I don't think many harbor hate towards gays. Some do, yes. However don't get confused with rejecting your lifestyle choice with hatred. One can decide that choosing to be gay isn't the best way to lead ones life and be vocal about it without having any hate in their hearts.

Having your feelings hurt isn't hate.

People that use the Bible to promote an anti-homosexual agenda don't really understand what the words in Greek and Hebrew meant. I can go on for hours on what the Bible really says, but most people don't want to listen, too many years being brain washed by a false teaching.

By the way, be prepared to get a bunch of misquotes from Romans and Leviticus.
