Think for a moment how we got here without us making choices to what we should look like and where we're suppose to be borned. So isn't it obvious that our Destiny is already written as well? I'm not religious or anything but even in the Bible it says that before we were born our life was already set by God. Now how can you as a little human being in this gigantic Universe argue against what I just said? Am I right or Am I right?

To PJerry2: Very nice and humbly that you said that. I also brought that up before.

No, just because we didn't ask to be born, it's not "obvious" that our lives are already written. We didn't "ask" to be born because we weren't here to ask. Now that we're here, we have control over our own lives. Of course, no matter what happens, you can CLAIM that "it was WRITTEN that way." If someone is poor and starving, you can claim that it was "written" that way, but if the same person is wealthy, you can still say it was "written" that way.

I would make sure to have all 4 elements there: Candles are fire; maybe a small fountain for water and maybe use colors for the other elements. Also, have some symbols of fertility around. This may include dying some eggs with your husband to be in red and after the ceremony eating the dyed eggs together. Rice also represents fertility, but I'm sure someone will have that there already. If you do in fact believe in the God and Goddess, I would have that duality there as well. As you may know, the virgin Mary is the Christian "Goddess". Ask the Priest to mention her in the wedding as well. If your still feeling like you can do more than this, I would suggest drinking milk and honey, and also sharing some with the earth. This is another fertility ritual and marks a good beginning.

One problem: What if we chose to come and be born? What if we choose to come back to not only learn more, but in a sense co-create with the Creator (in the sense of participation with the creative act) in order to further the earth and humankind? If what I say is true then you might be wrong. Many religions believe what I have stated.

Just accept the fact that we are no different that any other living things on this planet. Depressing? So be it. Humans should not elevate themselves to such grandious positions above other living things. We die and reproduce equally to all living things.

Agency makes our life on earth a period of testing. When planning the mortal creation of his children, God said, "We will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them". Without the gift of agency, we would have been unable to show our Heavenly Father whether we would do all that he commanded us. Because we are able to choose, we are responsible for our actions.
When we choose to live according to God's plan for us, our agency is strengthened. Right choices increase our power to make more right choices.
As we obey each of our Father's commandments, we grow in wisdom and strength of character. Our faith increases. We find it easier to make right choices.
We began to make choices as spirit children in our Heavenly Father's presence. Our choices there made us worthy to come to earth. Our Heavenly Father wants us to grow in faith, power, knowledge, wisdom, and all other good things. If we keep his commandments and make right choices, we will learn and understand. We will become like him.

We as souls choose where and to whom to be born. Imagine the soul with the free-will. We are where we are because we have lessons to learn. The sooner we learn the quicker we advance.

Your argument makes absolutely no sense, so no. It is NOT obvious that our life is already written.
