Catholicism changed its collective mind in 1869; general Protestant attitude changes followed after that.

In Islam this is not permitted because everyone is considered a brother or a sister. So if A person borrows $100 bucks from you they get to pay you $100 back. Same if you were the one borrowing. I find this to be fair, but of course the person borrowing must honor the term of time in which this money is borrowed. In any case I want to know your thoughts.

Thanks so much for your kind comments :)

Have a wonderful afternoon,
M.

I personally dont like her much, she doesnt look trustworthy!
But, i may be wrong and she may be a lovely person!

If she decided eventually to take 'Princess of Wales' for her offical title, would you agree? I think they made a wise decision not doing it.

Do you feel you make more or less than the people you know. Do you feel the stress of the "keeping up with the jones" mentality? Did you think at this point in your life you'd be making more than you are? I know I asked a number of questions, answer however you wish.

Why do protestants bash the Catholics and claim to follow only the Bible? Do they not realize that the Bible was WRITTEN and COMPILED by the early Catholic Church? I really don't see why protestant ministers preach so much hatred toward Catholics. I've NEVER heard a priest bash any other denomination...

Never argue with a woman who reads:

One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.

Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"

"Reading a book," she replies, (thinking, "Isn't that obvious?")
"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her.
"I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading."
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."

"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault," says the woman.

"But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden.
"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment."
"Have a nice day ma'am," and he left.

(See, I told you.)

I'd like to know who came up with this idea. Why can't the standard be 3 days a week instead of 5? I think mondays and fridays should be declared non-working days. People need to work less and get paid more to live a healthy, happy life.

There is the belief that you can get into Heaven with faith alone, but not with reason alone.

Why is faith more important to God?

After coming into this room for a while, I couldnt help but notice there are a lot of atheists that challenge people who believe in God. Why do they think that's necessary? Do they really think they'll change anyone's belief system?

Christians believe that Jesus was Christ..hence the word CHRISTian. JW's do not believe that Jesus was Christ, or God. They believe that Jesus was Michael the archangel. Mormons believe that Jesus' death does not give full atonement of sin, and believe in polytheism (that God the Father, Son and Holy ghost are 3 seperate Gods.)
So how is it that these beliefs are Christian in some views?

Doesn't the very belief structure of both religions totally contradict the definition of a Christian? The definition of the term "Christian" according to Dictionary.com is a person who believes in Jesus Christ; a person who exemplifies in his or her life the teachings of Christ. Now does that describe Mormonism or Catholicism? I don't think so. If you disagree please explain in detail.
