Of course we do. We don't have to be afraid of offending a crabby old man, and face eternal damnation for doing things that the Goddess considers as worship. Our law of 'an it harm none, do what ye will', tells us that we need to be good, thoughtful people, but only for the sake of being good, thoughtful people, not because of fear of what comes after death. Most Pagans are such nice folks, I think because we understand the interconnectedness of all things living. I try to be extra good and really kind and helpful, because I am a very 'out' Pagan, and kind of feel like I am representing the whole bunch of us. Also, the things that we practice in our worship, dancing, chanting, drumming, having wine for fun, and just the very abandon and freedom we feel during ritual, is what makes the xtians afraid of us in the first place. Although I know I was born to be a Pagan, I have spent many hours at quite a few different places of worship, including a 3 year stint at a catholic boarding school. Believe me, Pagans wrote the book on fun. And I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!! Brightest Blessings!!!!

I don't know about "more fun" necessarily, because I know quite a few pagans whose lives aren't exactly happy-go-lucky, "traipsing through the forest", but I do think not having the "I'm a wretch and I'm not worthy of the Being that created me" guilt is definitely helpful. Not having to feel ashamed because of natural urges is definitely beneficial, because we don't spend our lives in conflict with "sinful thoughts".

We reap the consequences of our actions, but we accept that they are our consequences for our actions, not "Divine Punishment because God is mad at me for thinking that the neighbor looked hot the other day" sort of thing.

I don't know many other pagans personally, but I am more at ease with myself now than I was as a Christian.

I wouldn't really know since I've never practiced Christianity. But I have Christian friends that seem quite happy. I think it depends more on a person's attitude than their particular religion.

YES! That's what our holidays are all about!

Plus we're not all worried that our deities won't like us anymore if we don't sneeze as outlined in the Holy Scriptures.

Much more fun to be One with everything, than believing ourselves to be outside of it, and unworthy of it.

whoa religion isn't wether its fun or not, and both ways are not very faithful but that question is a heap of crap. Picking and choosing faiths is oxymoronical because switching 'faiths' constantly is basically picking and choosing the 'oh so powerful gods' that you prefer. pathetic

No, but thank you for asking.
I think I have a lot of fun. I think they have fun, too.
It all depends upon your perspective.

sin is enticing. Pagans don't care if they sin. Christians do because we believe that God died for our sins and if we keep HABITUALLY sinning its like spitting on the cross. We will always sin but i'm talking about practicing a sinful lifestyle
