A girl is claiming shes 100% latino, and that thats the only race inside of her. She lives in America, was born in America, and says her grandparents were born in Venazuala.
Is it possible that she is only one race?

It is possible that her grandparents were from some tribe or other ethnic group that has managed to not interbreed with other racial groups of people in the last ten or more generations. However, you mentioned that it was her GRAND parents that were born in Venezuela. I am curious to know if this means that BOTH SETS of grandparents were born there in the same region, or if it was just one set, and the other set of grandparents were born elsewhere. You see, she did not mention the parents. In order for her to be considered 100% in a singular race, it is required that the last ten or more generations be documented as being members of a certain race. It works kind of like dog-breeding (not that I am in any way referring to any race of people being in any way associated with being dogs, cause I am not). it is just that in order to make this statement, it must be established that the direct ancestral lineage, on both sides is of a certain race, without the influence of other racial traits in the bloodlines. It is impossible to say that it is an impossibility for this to be the case, even if the odds are against it being truth.

Therefore, we must conclude that however unlikely in a modern world that there be no interracial influences in her lineage for at least ten generations, It is a possibility, and could be true.

Hope this helps...

Not likely, because the races of today are made up of a blend of past races. So while she can be 100% latino, it doesn't mean she is pure race, just like how I can say I am 100% South Indian, but that is a mix of Dravidian and Indo-Aryan races.
No one today is of "pure" race, so it shouldn't matter.

Could be she's part of the human race. That's how I answer the question on employment forms. And-anymore-It's hard to tell if someone is "pure" anything. Ireland was invaded by the Spaniards-so they have Black Irish. Pretty much every country was invaded over the centuries. Why does race matter?

It is possible. Some people do not believe in dating/marrying out side of their race. If her whole family has been like that for their whole ancestry, then she could be 100% latino.

Yeah, someone can be one race, but no one can be absolutely positive. For most people, you can go back hundreds a years, and most likely you'll find someone of a different race in your family tree. That's why I don't understand racists; they could very well be mixed to the race they hate so much.

I don't think anyone is 100% of anything. I'm sure if she could trace back her roots all the back to the begining she would be suprised to find out that she is mixed with a bunch of things.

properly, if he did say "black c-sucker" and "black Robin Hood", i might say yeah! he's definitely have been given some hangup approximately blacks. by definition he's a minimum of biased. yet then who isn't biased or prejudiced in this society? we'd be mendacity if we suggested we in no way felt it. Civility and preparation tempers this and teaches us to no longer blurt this out. curiously your chum blurted it out. You did no longer overreact you have been attempting to appreciate why he's the way he's and regrettably it particularly is unlikely everywhere. Nor are you able to transform his ideas. it particularly is like attempting to coach a undergo to chat.
