I think that the way you asked the question was fair. Normally people say: " Why do Christians hate Catholics and Muslims?"
So then I have to start differently. Not so with you.

I hate Islam and Catholicism because they teach things that are not what Jesus said to teach. With Roman Catholicism it's directing your worship towards saints, idols, and anything other than God. Not always, but often enough. Their rituals are not Biblical.

With Islam it's all the lies that go along with it. It misleads those people into being 'antichrists' by John's definition. They deny the Son, and so do not have the Father. All the killing that they are currently attempting aside; they are bringing hate towards those they are yet to attack. Even their children are being programmed. I figure that the generation that are being brought up now are going to flood into Israel in order to be captors of Jerusalem. It will happen as it is written in Zechariah 14.

I am a Christian and I do not hate the people of Islam and Catholicicm. I don't agree with some of the beliefs, but I have much love for them. I think that if you asked 100 "true God seeking" protestants if they genuinly loved the people of Islam and Catholicism, you would be hard pressed to find even one that said they didn't. That is the foundation of our beliefs, to love one another. Hope this helps.

First off, Protestants are Christians...not really sure where you were going with that. Second, I am a protestant and I don't hate Muslims or Catholics. Disagreeing with someone on doctrine and religion doesn't translate into hating those people although, I will admit some people make that leap quite easily.

From my own experience, most catholics think they are the only christians, that may be a reason why they dislike them, but I wouldn't say hate. As far as Islam goes, never met a protestant who ever spoke about Islam.

Catholics are just christians who follow the Pope as leader. Some of their teachings emphasize the teachers of fathers of the church (St Augustine etc; papal doctrine) too much imo, as someone from a protestant background, we prefer to elevate the teaching in the gospels and epistles. Some can also be somewhat religious. You know, people going to church as theyv'e been brought up to, without actually really having a relationship with God.

Islam - the ideas are not from God imo. Mohammed had an angel who gave him revelation, according to Mohammed and his close followers. But that angel contradicted the teachings of Christ and the apostles about things of first importance (how to get put right with God), so that I can't believe that angel was of God. People are free though to believe whatever what they want as far as they obey basic laws. Its a plausible belief system, so if I lived in a muslim country I would probably believe it, so its hardly right to hate muslims .. but I'm glad I trust in Christ who has paid for my sins. Jesus teaches us to love others. But that doesn't mean agreeing with all their beliefs.

Protestants are Christian
Martin Luther was the first to successfully protest against the Catholic church and start Lutherism after him many people protested how the church should be run.
Catholics, not all of them, after that were angry that the pope allowed the split and that he hasn't tried to reform the church
I don't know why they hate Islamic people but they shouldn't

People who follow and believe in Jesus The Christ, are called Christians..
They are taught to hate no-one, rather to Love their brother wife, children, neighbors and their enemies.
The words "Islam and catholics" does not appear in scripture. Maybe you should check your source of information.
