If I'm feeling down, I try to go for some healthy food as soon as I can. I do this because I don't want to end up feeling miserable and resorting to comfort food, and I certainly don't want to get fat.
Usually a nice cup of yogurt or a banana helps me, and then I follow up with some soothing music or a nap. The nap always works.

When I am feeling down I like to do things to keep myself busy. I spend time with friends, do house work and yard work, go dancing, go swimming, watch tv, talk to friends, read, etc... anything to stay busy. Many times when I am down I will throw myself into my work which is positive so sometimes the bad can turn into good.

go oustide, take a walk through nature, seriously this will help calm you down alot. i try to drink more water, eat something light and healthy if needed.
sometimes i run a washcloth under hot water and leave it on my face for awhile. or a put my clothes or towel in the dryer and wrap myself in it when i take it out.
sometimes i just like to write it all down an sometimes i just scream!
physical exercise is great too, but sometimes i know ill be too upset to do that.
accompanied with all of these things is marijuana, i find it has a soothing and positive effect on my mind.

Depends on why I'm down. Generally, I find a nice drive or hike to help a lot. I tend to just remove myself from the situation and take a breather, if I'm stressed.

Dear Sunshine:
I read the Bible, pray, go for a walk and it is also very helpful if one has a network of good friends, it doesn't matter to me how many friends I have, it is the quality of them, I try to choose them very carefully, a true friend "loveth at all times" and I believe these things are very important.
peace

a long run....
sweat a lot, breathe heavy...and while I am running, I meditate, pray, etc...
At the end of the run, I feel totally cleansed and reinvigorated...both physically and emotionally...I also feel good about myself for not flopping in front of the t.v. with a gallon of ice cream

Smile. Some times, just bucking up is enough. Life is good. That's not hard to remember.

I think of you.
You've always brought a smile to the faces of those who surround you, and you've always been a good friend. you've comforted everyone in need for a good word, you're a wonderful person. if you're feeling down, i know everyone will pitch in to make you smile.
