A lot of Muslims will argue that the burka, or veil that Muslim women wear is to shield their beauty so as not to tempt men. Many of us non-Muslims will agree that this is a bit silly, covering a woman's face because a man is a pig. But we do that same thing in America. Women have to keep their breasts covered because it tempts men. I think us women should be free to go topless just like men are. Not every woman WOULD go topless or even want to. But I think it should be an option for us. Who agrees and who disagrees?

Interesting post...I thought the burka was a bit ridiculous...but, Americans do the same thing with women wearing tops...I had not thought of that.
I agree with you...go topless...but, hey I am gay...so it doesn't bother me any way.
What a crazy world we live in...and how male-dominated is this...shouldn't men have to cover their faces to, so as not to tempt women into sinning?

The world would be better off with a little more modesty. I think covering the face with a burka is extreme, but most people today are too free with their bodies.

Few persons honestly experience head to head war of words certainly with persons they do not know. Most persons are conscious how impolite they are being after they arise to you and blatantly let you know off to your notion method. The soiled appears are attributed to the truth that they think you're spitting at their faith. My query is why is not there any such response among 'equipped' and approved religions? I get plenty of **** for being an atheist considering that I do not think in Jesus but the equal persons do not provide a moment look at Jewish persons who do not appreciate Jesus because the son of God.

Diaagree. Muslim women do NOT cover to deter temtation to idiot men. Muslim women cover because it is an order from Allah. It has noting to do with horny men. Men are ordered by Allah to lower their gaze and control themselves. Men are not allowed to start screwing anything that moves.

In a Democracy it's everybody's individual choice to determine how much or how little they wish to expose to the eyes of others. Muslimahs, and others who choose to cover more modestly, have that same priviledge in a Democracy. Leave it alone.
