I am going through the idenity issue of being gay. I have always dreamed of being 'normal', but have never been really attracted to the opposite sex. What is out there to help me cope? Part of my family is very religious, and I feel that this whole thing is actually doing more harm by keeping it in. I am 19 years old and think that a decision should be made. What advice can anyone give?

I don’t know if they are actually called prayer cloths or napkins etc...

But I know people who have talked about them, saying they pray over the cloth and put the cloth under the pillow of their sick relative.

If you do this, could you please explain why and provide me with scriptures so I may study this.

Well this guy that works with me asked me what to do I turned to ANSWERS because ther is a lot of feedback from good citizens. My friend works at a car dealership as a porter and he is of the middle eastern descent, he tells me that a couple of characters continuously harrass this poor soul daily with racial remarks, remarks about his physique, remarks about his descent etc, he by the way is a very soft spoken and a polite person, single father of four kids, just trying to survive and support his kids, but now he is sick and tired of all this, he has told them on many occassions to stop it but they keep on doing it, he wants to take the neccessary steps in getting this situation taken care off and worst come to worse sue the company, can someone please let me know what to tell him, I have seen and heard myself how they treat this guy, its simply pathetic.

Okay, I don't want to sound conceited, but the bulk of my question is about this: I am 16, a senior in high school and have a 4.5 GPA. Anybody else who is similar in this respect at my school is hailed a "smart god" and is known to be a genius. The thing is, I'm also a model...and I get vibes that people just don't take me seriously because (I'm sorry for my lack of modesty, I don't know how to put this delicately!) I'm good looking also. I feel that they feel that in order to be smart, you have to look like the steryotypical nerd and if you're even remotely good looking, you must be a air-headed bimbo who doesn't know anything....how can I get people to realize that I'm smarter than they think I am? That they should judge me on my academic achievements rather than my looks?

I am an atheist. Someone told me that the reason I am an atheist is because I don't want to be held accountable for my sins. I responded by saying "no, I just have not seen any evidence that he exists and I refuse to believe in anything for which there is no proof." He then went on some rant about how I am trying to justify my immoral lifestyle and how I actually do believe in God and that I am just trying to convince myself that he does not exist. I get the feeling that he is just being a mouthpeice for his church and that this is the general belief among Christians. Has it occured to you people that maybe not everyone is as obsessed with the afterlife as you people are. I don't spend every waking hour worrying about my salvation. I just go with the flow and whatever happens happens. That it.

I believe it is ok to live life for your own sake and not be pressured into giving anything if you dont want to. I wish i wouldnt be pressured tolive the life of a Christian and miss out on the things that life have to offer. I dont think you HAVE to wait until marriage to have sex . Its good if you do but i dont think i ever could. My familyis religious and they are pushing me to be like them I want to go to heaven but dont want to live a boring life of a Christian. Id like to enjoy myself some what. Any young people going through the same thing?

I was walking past one of my buildings of the apartment complex I manage and she was quite audible. Her window was closed, but she was loud! Because I don't want children hearing this when they play in the area, plus I wouldn't want prospective residents hearing this should we walk by, I want to say something to her, but I don't want to embarrass her. How would you tactfully handle it?

Do you think we could amend that contract we signed (you guys know the one -- where we traded our immortal souls, pledged to do the devil's work, and signed in blood) that we will only continue working for satan upon the conditions that he will "tempt" all christians to spell the word atheist correctly?
