If you believe that explain to me why people kill themselves when they feel the have been given more than they can handle. And don't say its free will and all that stuff. God is the past, present, and future right so wouldn't he be able to see those people killing themselves because they can't handle what they have been given.

Okay so I am 15 and I am a christian but oh wow I get sooo scared God is coming back and I have panic attacks thinking about hearing the trumpits cuz all that crosses my mind is I will never be on earth again adn I will never see my parents again{iin the flesh} and that nobody will know how much I love them and it happens very often I end up hugging my bible and praying until I fall asleep. What can I do? PLease try not to say go to a conciler cuz my parents wont understand if I tell them I think I should

I know that sounds contradictory, but let me explain...

In response to my last question, many many people explained to me that the "choice" isn't the be attracted to the same sex; the "choice" is to engage in sexual intimacy with members of the same sex. They basically told my that homosexuals ARE born "that way", but that they are commanded never to act upon their inborn nature.

So.... why is it that God would create someone as a homosexual only to command them NEVER to form the only kind of relationship that would be natural to them? Is it some very very cruel way to teach them to deprive themselves of a fulfilling love life, to teach them that they don't deserve the only kind of real love they can possibly experience (given that they were born gay)?

(Oh, and if you start comparing homosexuality to pẹdọphịlịạ or bẹstịạlịty or something ridiculous like that, so help me....... I will be VERY upset, so DON'T DO IT. We all know it's an unfair and irrelevant comparison)

it seems like there are hundreds of problems with our world and our society, yet people on this site choose to focus on black people's issues. i know african- americans don't do the right things sometimes, but they are criminals in every race. why do we get picked on so much?

I believe in God, but I have three reasons for being Christian, and I don't know if they are very good: 1) fear of going to hell 2) I was raised Christian 3) Christianity is the largest world religion. I was thinking about converting to Judaism because some Jews don't believe in the afterlife. That seems just because God isn't sending them to hell for something that wasn't there fault, namely growing up in the wrong religion. Since religion is not based on logic, there is no way to know for sure if Christianity is the right religion.

It seems to me that many aspects of religion are overlapped by science and that many "theories" are preach as fact by teachers who believe very strongly in them. How does this compare with teaching religion in schools?

The following definitions of religion were found at dictionary.com.

Definition 1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

Definition 2: something one believes in and follows devotedly.

Or, do you believe in continual rebirth where you become immortal with each lifetime a preparation for the next life, until perfection is reached? well ummm.... i was attracted to girls at first but until i found out that you had to chose i mean w/e so i was sitting at the park one day im 13 by the way and some guy came up to me and was like hey and being the kind person i am i was like hey anyway we became friends months later my mother and his decided to celebrate our birthdays together at our pool after a while we got tired and went inside and our friends followed we made a lil' fort out of his tee-pee that he brought over we were bored and our boredome somehow escaleded in some kissing and w/e his friend and older brother 14 was came to see where we had gone to find us inside a tent makin' out his friends brother decided to join and so did his lil' brother now you can imagine how it got out of hand. Anyway one day i spent the night at his house and i had wanted for us to you "know" but he said that he didn't realy want to do that stuff anymore and that it was what you would do if you were gay. But i asked myselfe am i GAY!??!

you people cant handle it and accept the fact that we're right.. you come here not to "discuss" or "challenge" but just to ridicule and insult... thats all you do, all you can do when answering any questions by us.
