Deism is halfway between theism and agnosticism. Deists were people like Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. They believed in a creator God, but they did not worship it, as they believed that God created this world and then left it, and just watches silently from afar, never judging. Deists believe that the glory of God is simply within his creation, being nature and such. Deism is a very simple belief, and was common amongst our Founding Fathers aside from Benjamin Franklin.
