Yes. There is no hell. And just because you profess to believe in an afterlife doesn't make it happen. But it is OK. We all are born, we live, and we die, and that is how it is for homo sapiens. The important thing is to live a good life, enjoy yourself, do good by others, and you will be alright. And don't fear death, that is the reason Christianity made up heaven and hell anyway. They are so afraid to die and not know what happens then that they made up this whole thing, with the idea that hell must exist since the idea of non-existence at all is much more terrifying than the idea of hell.
Whatever you believe or don't believe won't change what will happen. So live life now, well, and to the utmost.
And remember, Christians don't know what happens when you die, they just pretend they know.
Live, breathe, and don't be scared to say no more to a path that isn't right for you.
Bright blessings on your journey!

Ask yourself why would you stay?
1) fear of hell. You have probably picked the wrong Christian sect, or the wrong religion. If hell really exists you are almost definitely going there anyway. Why mess up your life here on the 1 in a million chance you picked the right vengeful god. If god is not vengeful, then you will not go to hell anyway.
2.) if you had been raised by chickens would you strut around pecking at the ground? I think not.
3) Christianity is the largest, but still an overall minority. Then you get to pick which version of Christianity - I do not think any of the individual cults are a majority. Anyway, 10,000,000 lemmings can't be wrong, so lets go jump of a cliff!*
Why believe in god?
Do you have any evidence that he exists?
If you do not believe that the universe can happen without a god, then who created god?
Deism is the belief in an impersonal god.
Agnosticism is being unsure whether there is a god or not.
Atheism is saying that a god is as likely as dragons and unicorns. You can not prove their non-existence, but no one in their right mind believes in them.
*(I know lemmings do not really do that, but it point out the stupidity of following the crowd for no good reason)

While they maybe silly reasons for the most part, they did bring you at least to a beginning place in Christianity. Whether or not you are really a part of a faith that you are considering leaving is for you and God, but consider this:
If Christianity is true, then converting to another non-Christian religion to escape the afterlife won't help you.
While fear of hell is not the best reason to be a Christian, it is a reason nonetheless. It does mean that you agree with God on some level that there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun.
Being raised a Christian is nice, but is no guarantee that you will choose to follow Christ on your own. Each of us must make that decision -you don't get to rest on your family's faith in order to be one. God has NO GRANDCHILDREN.
The popularity of something doesn't make it true, neither does human logic sometimes. Love is not logical, neither is the beauty of a sunset (that the sun has many shades of colors then maybe, the fact that we appreciate that view is not).
Christianity is true because God is true -He is true in His Word and He is true in His Incarnation. Christianity makes perfect sense if you agree about what God says about Himself and people in the Bible. The Christian faith alone satisfies the answer to our sin problem, offering those who trust in Christ, a fruitful and abundant life that lasts forever.
That is reason alone to be a Christian.

Hallo Daniel, My name is Orna, I am a Jew, I was born like that, and like a lot of us, especially us the people that no one love, the nation that has been prosecuted and killed so many times, and even now it seems like the nation everyone likes to dislike, everyone blames for every bad thing that happens, so I had to think a lot "do I want it?" and other Q. along the times, the experiences after turning my back 2 family for some time I came 2 think, This is me, it is a deep and profound part of who I am, I could never live one single Minuit without it, so I am not comfortable with some things or Ideas, I am not popular, my religion rolls do not free me 2 live like most of the world, so be it. but I choose, I made my choice I did a lot of work 2 get where I am now. Each of us has 2 make his choice in accordance with the deepest part of is existence.
Hope u find the best for u and have a good life full of love and openness 2 others

As a Christian I need to tell you that is up to you. Only the first of your three reasons is good. If you don't want eternal life or a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that is up to you.
As for converting to Judaism, I can tell you I read the Torah regularly in addition to the New Testament, and I can tell you there are still consequences that must be paid for sin. Sin does not abide with God. The Torah supports the New Testament completely.
I just pray you make the right decision and consult your pastor if you really are a Christian and actually go to church.

You already sound quite sure of what you should do.
I think that people want to stick with the religion they were "raised with" but why do that? If you're family gets mad, they'll get over it - they don't run your life.
As far as Christianity being the biggest religion- it's only the biggest because there are so many different denominations that vary and fit peoples desires and beliefs and because Christian countries who took over another forced/encouraged their religion onto its people.
There is no way to know if there is an afterlife unless you die. My advice to you is to live well and lead your life in an ethical and well rounded way.
p.s. pusherhombre
What do you mean, eternal life? How can any person be so arrogant that they believe they will live forever?

Only you can answer that question. If Christainity is not giving you the answers you are looking for then go out and educate yourself.
I am a Christain Gnostic. I was raised Baptist, and I read all 26 versions of the Bible that all had something different to say. So I studied many other religions until I found my home, so the best thing I can say is search for the answers that you are looking for dont wait for someone to tell you the answer.
I do not like to give people the answers, I like them to find the answers themselves then you know that no one can put doubt in your mind and your relationship with God gets closer.

well this is just my opinion, but if the only reason you follow a certain religion is out of fear and because your parents did, than yes yo should leave it. if u beleive in god there are alot of other religions that might be a better fit. and just to throw this out there, but you don't have to follow any religion. thay can't all be right so what you believe personally has just as much of a chance of being right as all the other organized religions do. in other words, just believe what you believe and dont worry about having a label for it

I had this argument with myself awhile back, minus the judaism bit. I was going to turn and leave even though I knew that God existed and has a plan and a purpose for my life (Jer 29:11).
I hope you have argued this out with God before putting it on here. I did and God showed me what he wanted for me, and through my brokeness and hurt showed me what to do, he put life back in me.
Not based on logic but based on Truth, Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life."
Are you in a place of Spiritual abuse where you are made to fear God instead of find relationship with Him? God loves you and wants relationship with you, he wants you to have faith, not fear...
I was raised a Christian, but at some point in your life you need to study it, seek God and his righteousness cry out to God, ask him to answer you, you are not saved by your parents beliefs.
Is Christianity still the largest religion in the world - that's facinating.
God is not sending any one to hell, God has given us the choice to accept, that Jesus died because he loves you so much, that he didn't want any to perish, he did not come to condemn but to save (John 3:15-18 my paraphrased version)
In short to answer the bold question. I would say NO.
